it's getting tight at the top again. i've got one of my clumps of starting pitching tonight but any or all of them could blow up badly (darvish at philly, stroman at atlanta, aaron sanchez at oakland ... not feeling super confident about any of those)

Now I know why I did better last year (ignored keepers) versus this year (keepers, most of them on the IL): it's a lot easier to ride the FA/waiver wire when you have open slots that aren't cock-blocked by dudes with ruptured testicles, etc.

i feel like i made some solid decisions w/r/t waiver wire pickups which have allowed me to claw all the way up to 8th place though i'm reconsidering my Jorge Soler drop (not that he could help my terrible, horrible, no-good, very bad pitching).

I had an offensive day for the ages yesterday: 13/17, 11 R, 9 HR, 13 RBI, .481 OBP, 1.519 SLG, 10 XBH. Set the league single day record for HR, XBH, and SLG. Unfortunately all this did was make up for my offense mostly crapping the bed for the past two weeks, but still, it was a fun day.

Mondesi: subluxation of shoulder (Jul 16 -> Sept?). Still #2 in SBs lol!
Marquez: arm inflamation (Aug 26 -> ?)
