that looked like a hit. vid of the shooting is out there – as are many vids of the shooter getting the shit kicked out of him. this is crazy.

it's pretty insane, i'm glad he's gonna be okay. the suspect was allegedly involved in the drug business, which makes me wonder if Papi's been outspoken against the drug trade down there in a way that would make him a target. or if this was a case of really unfortunate mistaken identity, which seems very unlikely.

my guess was that someone decided to shake the guy down at some point and Ortiz wouldn't pay. (total stab in the dark)
