I’ll be clear here: I’m on the big hall side of things and more catchers could get in, it wouldn’t hurt and if Molina has his plaque I’ll be happy, he seems cool and it also means it will be deserved, I am just thinking they are setting a lof people with expectations there.

yeah, they're making it a self-fulfilling prophecy pretty much, because now every year he doesn't get in everyone will be like "but back in his playing days everyone said he was a first ballot hall of famer!"

but i'll be happy to see him in the hall, too, if he makes it, even if his numbers don't exactly back it up. and i look forward him to coming back to busch stadium wearing really tacky bright red suit jackets with ozzie, gibson, and the rest of the guys for a long time.
