Brutal night, lost 16 points and dropped about 40 places. That's what happens when Navarro and Moustakas both have great nights.

I picked up another 18 points and moved up to #38. There's still room for improvement -- James Loney is still in negative points!

I find that the two pitchers' performance is really key. and of course De La Rosa is doing well again today....

My team "rebounded" with 32 points over the past seven days. I'm up to 55th place. Nobody on my team really stood out this week, it was general suckage all around, a true team effort.

Kudos to whoever had Chris Johnson in this league.

He's only 72nd overall and fourth among third basemen. Andrelton Simmons is 27th (remember, it's essentially OPS factored by plate appearances, for non-pitchers).

I've never played it or looked into it, so I didn't know how scoring was figured. It does make sense that Andrelton would be up there — such a horrible year offensively.

There's actually a pretty good 3-way race for the top spot heading into the last weekend. I hope the current leader is overtaken, cuz he's one of those lucky sods who picked Edwin Jackson.

40 percent of the first place team's points are from the two pitchers! Next time somebody argues that Kershaw can't be MVP because he doesn't play every day, we can send a link to that guy's team. IOW, pitchers are so valuable (or not valuable) that they can impact their team more than any one position player.

In the past week I've climbed from fifteen or so places from the bottom up to 489th place! Still in negative points though.

I have zoomed into the top 50, bcz Loney, Hamilton and even Valbuena and Markakis are finding their rubber legs in the batter's box. Too bad Tuffy Gosewisch is about to lose his starting job; shoulda gone with Bethancourt, goddammit.

I'm 10th from the bottom! Nelson Cruz is killing my team.

Even the guy in last place was obviously making serious picks, choosing DJ LeMathieu and Mike Moustakas is easily defensible.

Only one other person picked Cruz, if I understand it correctly. At the start of 2014 no MLB teams wanted him! Last year easily could have been a fluke, and it was really only a couple of great months, in the second half he was terrible IIRC.

The 12 players who have Jeremy Guthrie are inordinately happy today.
