I kinda thought I had a balanced team this year, unlike most years when I end up totally punting a category like SV or NSB and it ends up biting me in the ass, but now I'm looking at my hitters and realized I might be staring a .375 team SLG in the face.

i have a lot of keeper eligible dudes this year - i think i went a bit overboard in putting the "***KEEPER!!***" marker by certain players in spreadsheet!

also, for some reason mixed up Eric Hosmer with the other KC infield prospect, Mike Moustakas. Moutstakas is expected to get significant playing time this year. Hosmer is behind Billy Butler, and is expected to drink beer with his minor league friends this year.

if Hosmer mashes at AAA they could bring him up and bump Butler to DH. probably smarter of them to wait until all their pitching is ready to come up too though.

i would def be down with trading Butler - but ya, i can understand wanting to hang on to Dunn obv.
think i'd be better off taking a wait and see approach anyways. Butler, Weiters, Castro, Heyward and even Figgins should all slug a little better this year.

so i took the 2011 projections from Fangraphs for my team and shuffled it into the 2010 stats/standings to see where i'd wind up. somewhere between 3rd and 5th, apparently! 4th worst home runs totals tho :s

counting stat projections are basically BS though

at least for lineup dependent ones like R and RBI i mean
