I don't think they have TVs there. Toronado has a couple small sets, and the beer selection is one of the best in the nation/world.

There's a place I went a couple weeks ago in North Beach/Chinatown that was on the smaller/mellower side for a sports bar and had 4 lcd plasmas, good specials and service. I can't remember the name of it though...

Um I watch games at wherever I end up so Waziema, Hukilau, that place on Page & Divis, Mad Dog. . . Zeitgeist does have one TV at least, IIRC.

it's probably the closest for Morbs (15 min. walk, 10 for a NYer). If you've got a transit pass for the week just take the 24 over the hill. i would vote Yes on this (2 TVs, mellow, close).

zeitgeist is indeed a well-deserved SF institution, i just think it wouldn't be any fun to try to watch a game.

waziema is a cool, low-lit ethiopian cafe/club, i have never watched a game here! wtf!
mad dog and toronado are not far, just down the hill in lower haight. toronado has a blaring RnR jukebox but a super good beer selection.

yancy's is nice because it's got that great TV and it's pretty friendly. i'd push Yancy's but it might be a pain to get to for Le Morbs.

well, Page or Yancy's perhaps then. Make sure Michael & Shakey come to cluck their tongues at us! Afterwards I'll be going to Tubesteak Thursday in the Tenderloin.

Whatever you guys decide on, I am cool with. Yancy's is just one 30 minute underground ride away from Morbs need (Tubesteak is at 133 Turk, right?)

in the first game of the bos-atl series last weekend, all of fenway broke into the chant while the sox were merrily raping the christ out of atlanta. it was pretty hilar. normally i am pretty embarassed by it (and the chop), but i will embrace anything that upsets morbz

we do it at Shea on the exit ramps when Mets beat Braves. it's empowering.

btw next Tuesday at Shea is Zito vs Perez, w/ $9 seats! I'll be packing for SF, but might manage it. Anyone else?
