Disappointing but not entirely unexpected, unfortunately, particularly after getting crushed by Afghanistan in the week.
There’s a lot of negativity around squad selection and today’s team selection that seems to be getting to the players. Pooran’s had an abysmal IPL but he’s justified in starting to keep wicket. Gayle is being picked primarily on sentiment at the moment, though. Narine is a huge absence.
