just my 2c on the invite take it as u will but keep in mind im not only a professional graphic designer and i dont mean to brag here but im also sort of a professional party animal - a b&w image of crusty old guys standing around frowning really doesnt say fun to me - i could get into the functions of some of the other aesthetic elements too but i feel pretty much whatever abt it at this point

btw jordan i fucked around w/the txt in a few diff places/sizes and i actually found having it like that overlaying the ball drew the eye to the ball where in its original form the photo is more abt the dudes - so the text is serving double duty

btw i just went out an bought some ben and jerrys heath bar crunch flavored ice cream and this nice oldster couple made a joke abt going into my apt instead of the restaurant downstairs - i told them id cook them dinner but they just laughed and entered the restaurant

^^ love funny little interactions like that where everyone can leave patting themselves on the back for making an ok joke and also think the person they met was an all-around good person

yah its sort of peak human interaction in a lot of ways

is there a position at oxy youre looking at? i didnt even know we had an astrophysics dept. apparently were strong in the sciences for a lib arts school.

fwiw oxy is a great place if u make it that way, but i think it can be really frustrating to be a professor there

no position that i know of, i just need to check out a liberal arts school every time i get the chance, and i've already done the claremont colleges.
