max, Thursday, 29 July 2010 20:12 (ten years ago) link

max, Thursday, 29 July 2010 20:12 (ten years ago) link

Even if it is full of red haired women who won't talk to you.

ninjas and lasers and gold and (snoball), Thursday, 29 July 2010 20:13 (ten years ago) link

Ireland sounds great, TBH, v. v. pretty and you don't have to talk to people.

Should I move there? Are there jobs?

procedurally generated pidyn (Masonic Boom), Thursday, 29 July 2010 20:15 (ten years ago) link

um...

gis result for "peace church"

TEEN LESBIAN (Lamp), Thursday, 29 July 2010 20:21 (ten years ago) link

TBH, things I know about Ireland:

-Irish boys = ridiculously friendly. So I guess that means I would have to talk to ppl
-Rains all the time
-v. v. pretty, geologically and botanically

...and that's about it.

I guess there are no jobs and I shouldn't move there.

procedurally generated pidyn (Masonic Boom), Thursday, 29 July 2010 20:21 (ten years ago) link

you have to "have a crack" all the time iirc

max, Thursday, 29 July 2010 20:24 (ten years ago) link

OK, where is it v. v. pretty, rains all the time, and it's OK to be depressed and mopey and never talk to anyone, ever.

I'm looking at Norway, basically, right?

Are there gingers in Norway?

procedurally generated pidyn (Masonic Boom), Thursday, 29 July 2010 20:25 (ten years ago) link

yeah ireland's
okay

plax (ico), Thursday, 29 July 2010 20:25 (ten years ago) link

^^^ new Irish Tourist Board slogan

ninjas and lasers and gold and (snoball), Thursday, 29 July 2010 20:26 (ten years ago) link

ppl in norway are really friendly too. at least they are in sweden. so i assume norway is the same way

max, Thursday, 29 July 2010 20:26 (ten years ago) link

i think if you live somewhere where it rains all the time you have to be friendly because otherwise you will be sad always

max, Thursday, 29 July 2010 20:27 (ten years ago) link

http://www.leftfootforward.org/images/2010/04/OECD-unemployment-Feb-2010-1024x606.jpg

don't move to ireland. also don't move to spain. maybe consider norway.

iatee, Thursday, 29 July 2010 20:27 (ten years ago) link

AND ALL THE BOYS IN NORWAY LOOK LIKE LINDSTROM.

Wait, that's not true. I've seen a picture of Geir.

Need to find a country where it's OK to be ginger, anti-social, raining all the time - and there are still jobs for IT geeks.

procedurally generated pidyn (Masonic Boom), Thursday, 29 July 2010 20:29 (ten years ago) link

this board has potential.

max, Thursday, 29 July 2010 20:29 (ten years ago) link

I like rain! Rain is nice! I'm happy when it rains!

Wait, Scotland. There's a reason I'm like this and it's called genetics.

procedurally generated pidyn (Masonic Boom), Thursday, 29 July 2010 20:30 (ten years ago) link

Scottish boys are horrible, tho. :-(

procedurally generated pidyn (Masonic Boom), Thursday, 29 July 2010 20:30 (ten years ago) link

If you LOL Merkins get socialised medicine Seattle might be nice. Certainly suits the "v. v. pretty, rains all the time" bit.

procedurally generated pidyn (Masonic Boom), Thursday, 29 July 2010 20:31 (ten years ago) link

vancouver then

mookieproof, Thursday, 29 July 2010 20:36 (ten years ago) link

its probably best that you dont try and make ur location responsible for ur happiness tho

plax (ico), Thursday, 29 July 2010 20:37 (ten years ago) link

Lovely pics, plax.

Take my hand, we'll make it I swear (Pashmina), Thursday, 29 July 2010 20:41 (ten years ago) link

I dunno. I think a location can certainly be responsible for your unhappiness, especially if that location is an overcrowded hellhole like London... YMMV.

I do just look at pics like that, that are just beautiful mountain/sea combinations and wonder why I live here.

procedurally generated pidyn (Masonic Boom), Thursday, 29 July 2010 20:42 (ten years ago) link

that said, I did say on the "long term goals" thread on t'Erol forum "move out of London w/i 5 years" and about 5 Irish lads immediately piped up with I WILL SWAP WITH YOU RIGHT NOW, TAKE MY COUNTRY, PLS!!!

procedurally generated pidyn (Masonic Boom), Thursday, 29 July 2010 20:44 (ten years ago) link

How does the light look both golden and rainy at the same time? So beautiful.

if a thread doesn't have something to do with religion then it gets locked. this was a rule that was put into effect to keep people from reviving ask chaki! threads, even harmless ones

how did you obtain your power

I think I'm Big Bird, Harold Hooper (crüt), Thursday, 29 July 2010 21:02 (ten years ago) link

ireland is a v. religious country

plax (ico), Thursday, 29 July 2010 21:03 (ten years ago) link

those photos are great in any event

max, Thursday, 29 July 2010 21:03 (ten years ago) link

Yeah, I was gonna say. *Everything* in Ireland is about religion.
