it's amazing! even in that fan version. i mean, the fan version itself is kind of a work of art. i do think early disney was amazing too. lots of great films out there. but yeah he was ahead of his time. a visionary and all that. it is kinda like my love for analog. you can feel the love and see it and hear it. i honestly think that finding nemo was the only pixar thing where i felt love in the frames. for all of pixar's prowess - and their stuff is always impressive technically - i don't usually get wowed a lot on an emotional level. a visceral level. the iron giant had that thing. a heart, i guess. was really impressed by the opening sequence of the johnny depp lizard movie! very funny and imaginative. Rango.
