Saw Climates (İklimler) tonight. Still wrapping my head around it.
Anyone see this? Any thoughts?
Any recommendations?
I watched Edge of Heaven recently. I have The Turkish Bath (Hamam) in my queue, and will probably add Head-On soon. I know Faith Akin is German-Turk, but whatever.

Got Head-On at the top of the queue.
Got 'Distant' (Uzak) sitting here now. Might watch it tonight.

Just watched Distant. Languid, to say the least. Also saw his short Cocoon (Koza) on the extras. The latter was completely without dialogue or narrative.
After watching Climates and Distant back-to-back, I've gotten a sense of Nuri Bilge Ceylan's S L O W pacing, but not in a hurry to watch another of his. When I do, I probably will check out Three Monkeys (Üç Maymun)[unless someone will point me otherwise].

the other choices of his are Kasaba (Small Town) or Mayıs Sıkıntısı (Clouds of May)

Adem'in trenleri (adam and the devil) was pretty good i dont have a lot of context to put it in tbh but other than the things you've listed here its the only recent turkish film i can recommend

I have to recommend Head-On too, even though you're already going to see it.
