Thread for footnotes, clarification, corrections etc

I thought this could be useful? I often feel like things I post to ilx do not come across as I intended and want to post clarification, but then it's a slippery slope to the entire thread being dominated by posts where I defensively reformulate the previous post, and I realise that that this is more of a narcissistic urge than something that benefits anyone else. So I thought I could put those posts here, hopefully other people will want to post their footnotes, clarification, corrections etc so this doesn't come across as narcissistic vanity thread.

I do listen to it! Just tends to be specific programs via the iplayer, so I don't have to risk hearing Mark Radcliffe asking his listeners to send him puns.

I'm worried I came across here like I was indignant that Wins was suggesting that I was pretending not to listen to 6 Music, when I wasn't indignant, the exclamation mark after 'I do listen to it' was meant to be mock-indignant but I'm concerned it came across as arsey or pedantic, sorry Wins.
