seems fake

From what I gathered they were Twin brothers working the mines at monte cristo. Bothered by conditions and pay they set out on their own to find claims. They traveled for 3 weeks round trip. Story says they found a 2 million dollar ledge about 10 day hike north, north east of mc. They traveled with two pack mules. upone return they killed each other in a drunken argument about claim rights . one brother stabed the other brother who pulled out a pistol and shot the first dead. Cool story but I can not find any historical information to base it on. Also have no idea what kind of trails were exhisting at that time. I want to put a maximum distance from mc they could have gone, but i have nearly not enuf info.

i just remembered this time a couple years ago when i was supposed to meet this girl named rachel in a bookstore and i was in the store and this one girl was kind of looking at me so i said 'are you rachel' and she said 'yes...?' but it wasn't the right rachel it was a random other rachel

that happened to me recently except i was supposed to meet a client named Dave and i approached a man standing in the hotel lobby and asked if he was Dave and he said yes, but after a few minutes it turned out he was a different Dave, who had an appointment with one of my colleagues at the exact same time as my appointment with my client

I had to interview the city manager, a man probably with more power than the mayor, in the lobby of the fancy-dancy hotel down the street. He didn't know what I looked like, but it was understood that I knew what he looked like. He came out of the restaurant with this other man and talked to him past our appointment time. I was on the clock, but I felt creepy just standing there 20 feet from him, trying to project that I was his next appointment while not interrupting his conversation. The fedora and copy of Catcher In the Rye I was reading probably didn't help matters either.
