this stuff amuses me more than it bothers me, in the sense that all these (I'm guessing) well-to-do, educated professionals have the best possible technology on hand, but instead of using it to make themselves look like waxwork gods, they end up exposing their physical flaws to an extreme degree because either they do their own web design or their webmasters are idiots. but maybe corporate photo shoots are supposed to honest and transparent, and these people are proud to show their crows' feet and nose hairs to the world. kinda doubt it though.
