latex condoms are very irritating me and I recently had my guy use a polyutherene one by Lifestyles. thumbs up!

Miss Misery (thatgirl), Tuesday, 4 January 2005 12:09 (nineteen years ago) link

Did Ivor Biggun get his 2-year-backorder condoms through? Any good?

(the thought of using TWO of the fucking things at the same time is too laughably unpleasant for words)

S: Trojan MESH jimmyhats
D: CHOCOLATE FLAVORED jimmyhats

nickalicious (nickalicious), Tuesday, 4 January 2005 16:13 (nineteen years ago) link

here are a few activities, in my order of preference:

1. fucking
2. not fucking
3. fucking w condom.

this is painfully otm.

mark p (Mark P), Tuesday, 4 January 2005 16:30 (nineteen years ago) link

i hate condoms so much.

mark p (Mark P), Tuesday, 4 January 2005 16:33 (nineteen years ago) link

hey DUDE DUDE the new issue of consumer reports rates condoms!!!!

teeny (teeny), Tuesday, 4 January 2005 16:53 (nineteen years ago) link

"Durex - they're pretty okay!" said Consumer Reports yesterday. It then added "and yeah, Trojans, they're kinda cool too".

Markelby (Mark C), Tuesday, 4 January 2005 16:55 (nineteen years ago) link

they also rated chocolates, I think they were going for a valentine's day theme (feb issue).

top of the list and reasonably priced was Durex Extra Sensitive Lubricated Latex.

They also mentioned that there's no reason to buy a spermicide-treated condoms, as they don't have any additional benefit in preventing pregnancy, have a shorter shelf life, and may cause urinary-tract infections in women.

teeny (teeny), Tuesday, 4 January 2005 17:14 (nineteen years ago) link

trojans are so thick and rubbery, i hate them. they feel like galoshes

s1ocki (slutsky), Tuesday, 4 January 2005 17:16 (nineteen years ago) link

That's why MESH yo!

nickalicious (nickalicious), Tuesday, 4 January 2005 17:17 (nineteen years ago) link

i'd imagine a mesh condom wouldn't be entirely effective

s1ocki (slutsky), Tuesday, 4 January 2005 17:17 (nineteen years ago) link

Shiek used to be GREAT! I don't think they're around anymore. I stick with the Trojan blues because I realized I don't need all that sensation. Less sensation seems to cause my dick to get harder, as if my penis is stretching for sensation like a cat stretches up the kitchen cabinets for food. I get a harder dick and I last longer with more latex between me and my woman.

Triple Ho, Tuesday, 4 January 2005 17:18 (nineteen years ago) link

OTM. trojan = penis gumshoes.

mark p (Mark P), Tuesday, 4 January 2005 17:19 (nineteen years ago) link

sheik = durex = pretty good

s1ocki (slutsky), Tuesday, 4 January 2005 17:21 (nineteen years ago) link

Durex didn't seem all that thin when I tried them. I've tried Durex by the 12 pack 3 or 4 times. They suck. Kimono's are thinner, if you're going for thinness, which I ain't, and they don't have that shitty lube or whatever that Durex does. Kimono's are probably best for all concerned here. Except me. I prefer thicker latex, as I say.

Triple Ho, Tuesday, 4 January 2005 17:23 (nineteen years ago) link

BULLET POINT #9: Proved that anything as small as a sperm or HIV can pass through this material.

Great, I'll buy a million.

Assuming that is a type-o, perhaps this is a brand to try for all you thin-nuts.

Triple Ho, Tuesday, 4 January 2005 17:28 (nineteen years ago) link

Proved that anything as small as a sperm or HIV can pass through this material.

Trojan would be a good name for this.

ken c (ken c), Tuesday, 4 January 2005 17:31 (nineteen years ago) link

i mean, if your greek friend buys you a pack as a present - beware.

ken c (ken c), Tuesday, 4 January 2005 17:32 (nineteen years ago) link

1. fucking
2. not fucking
3. fucking w condom.

This is mentalism. Try:

1. fucking
2. fucking with condom
...
...
...
784376. not fucking

MindInRewind (Barry Bruner), Tuesday, 4 January 2005 17:34 (nineteen years ago) link

Barry essnetially OTM, though there might be a few other choice bedroom antics between 1 and 2 there.

Markelby (Mark C), Tuesday, 4 January 2005 17:48 (nineteen years ago) link

Back that up a bit... there are condoms called "warm and cuddly feelings"? Haha yes, but I seriously want to know what condom names are like this. I want to tote some of them around so bad now.

Poppy (poppy), Tuesday, 4 January 2005 18:01 (nineteen years ago) link

"top of the list and reasonably priced was Durex Extra Sensitive Lubricated Latex."

does "extra sensitive" mean "super thin and might break"? if not maybe i'll try these.

Amateur(ist) (Amateur(ist)), Tuesday, 4 January 2005 20:51 (nineteen years ago) link

extra sensative means "extra small penis"

LSD, called the aristocrat (ex machina), Tuesday, 4 January 2005 21:00 (nineteen years ago) link

Can someone tell me what the difference between regular Trojans and Trojan-ENZ is? I didn't feel like inspecting the packages while at the store.

craggy jones, Tuesday, 4 January 2005 21:14 (nineteen years ago) link

"trojan-enz" are for sleeping w/ new zealanders?

mark p (Mark P), Tuesday, 4 January 2005 21:17 (nineteen years ago) link

I haven't seen anything mentioned about Beyond-7's here, so I'll throw my props out for those.

cws (cws), Tuesday, 4 January 2005 21:18 (nineteen years ago) link

they were totally tested for breakage and reliability. They were not tested for um level of goodfeelin' or whatever. I'm not sure that can be effectively measured in a lab over a large sample.

teeny (teeny), Tuesday, 4 January 2005 21:20 (nineteen years ago) link

"ok, just gives me a thumbs up if you're feelin' good! ok.... gotcha. ok, lucy, take that down."

Amateur(ist) (Amateur(ist)), Tuesday, 4 January 2005 21:21 (nineteen years ago) link

Another point - do ribbed condoms do anything?

Yes, but nothing good. Total pain from begining to end. I was drunk and it still hurt. I was drunk and this was years ago and I still remember the horror.

Anna (Anna), Tuesday, 4 January 2005 21:21 (nineteen years ago) link

don't trojan enz have the little semen-receptacle things at the tip?

Amateur(ist) (Amateur(ist)), Tuesday, 4 January 2005 21:22 (nineteen years ago) link

"reservoir tips"

mark p (Mark P), Tuesday, 4 January 2005 21:23 (nineteen years ago) link

well i bought the the regular trojans, and those have res tips. don't all condoms?? or are there some cheap ones where the splooge is forced out the sides???

craggy jones, Tuesday, 4 January 2005 21:27 (nineteen years ago) link

I haven't had to use any of the pack I bought (thank you pills and tests), but I think I should. I could stand to lose a lil feeling, if you get my drift.

craggy jones, Tuesday, 4 January 2005 21:39 (nineteen years ago) link

did i miss the "hand holding" and "kissing" threads amateurist surely revived before this one?

Jams Murphy (ystrickler), Tuesday, 4 January 2005 21:46 (nineteen years ago) link

From the Unique site mentioned above.

created exclusively for masculine use

Not for the effete emo types then.

I am terrified about the mostly-theoretical nature of my condom knowledge. I blame the contraceptive pill and having had no sex ed at school.

This thread is useful. (helpful?)

French condoms appear, at first blush, to be sized rather smaller than their new world counterparts.
