"my will is being tested" is creepy?! Girl in short shorts bending over in front of him ten times in the evening means he was aroused and not to express the most basic expression of said arousal (pawing, slobbering, tent pole thrusting or what have you) does take an act of will, the will to be polite, civilized, and considerate. What would be creepy is if he reached out and grabbed her ass. To be tempted is merely human.

Honestly when I read this thread I thought some Cattle Grind type post was deleted by a mod or something. I don't know what women think about men in general but assuming that we have to constantly refrain ourselves from stalking women, pinning them down, and raping them is kinda odd. then again you never know with a guy like Neanderthal. I kind of figured it was assumed that theater people are easy and that his will was being tested because if he actually hit on her it'd be like a four hour over/under until they had sex, and he didn't want to overcommit and have sex and catch feelings.

this is wrong; tempted infers that you are being held back from, or refraining from, doing something, which in this case you're not. you might be aroused!, or excited, but contextualising it in terms of 'i had to stop myself' is putting yourself in the plain of creepiness, kinda, i think. i mean you didn't do it!, & i have no suspicion that it was meant this way, but just if we are going to double down then i think that it crosses the line, putting it in an implied realm of maybe-doing-something, which should not have been on the potential list of actions.

I may be the only woman on ILX that would feel this way, but I didn't find San's post creepy at all. He didn't actually push her down on the dressing room floor, and he didn't say those things to her in person. He just had a few thoughts, that's all. He didn't actually act on them.

Didn't want to add to this and take ENBB's point that we're all just repeating ourselves a bit now, but feel like I should note that I'm a woman who re-read the post many times because I just couldn't see what was creepy about it. Doesn't 'mean' anything what I think, as CGLDI says, but feels wrong not to say so.
