funnily enough once you get fat the lean years kick in.

It's a shitty metaphor tbph, we should prob use another

Achillean Heel (darraghmac), Friday, 25 February 2011 01:14 (fifteen years ago)

My fat years (metaphorically AND literally) were my pizza delivery years.

LOL were you in a porn film or something =)

berk psychosis (Trayce), Friday, 25 February 2011 02:02 (fifteen years ago)

HOOStory is back. Fasten your steenbelts. (BIG HOOS aka the steendriver), Friday, 25 February 2011 02:08 (fifteen years ago)

HOOStory is back. Fasten your steenbelts. (BIG HOOS aka the steendriver), Friday, 25 February 2011 02:09 (fifteen years ago)

Me too! And usually I honestly dont give a rats, but something's put ants in me pants lately. Its ... frustrating.

berk psychosis (Trayce), Friday, 25 February 2011 02:10 (fifteen years ago)

well part of it is the 'so close yet so far' thing cause there are phone calls i could make that would substantially increase the chances of precipitation but all.....clouds are.....not accessible.

HOOStory is back. Fasten your steenbelts. (BIG HOOS aka the steendriver), Friday, 25 February 2011 02:17 (fifteen years ago)

berk psychosis (Trayce), Friday, 25 February 2011 02:32 (fifteen years ago)

Trayce, try going through short-term nymphomania and having your period at the same time. (No, I can't just ignore the mess and do it anyway. It gets too painful.)

Christine Green Leafy Dragon Indigo, Friday, 25 February 2011 02:56 (fifteen years ago)

Ladies and Gentleman,

homosexual II, Friday, 25 February 2011 05:50 (fifteen years ago)

Neu! romancer (dayo), Friday, 25 February 2011 05:51 (fifteen years ago)

Love ENBB for posting Lover Boy = for some reason I am obsessed with that terrible film.

emil.y, Friday, 25 February 2011 05:56 (fifteen years ago)

lol I don't even know how many times I've seen that movie. It was always on TV when I was growing up. That and the other Dempsey masterpiece "Can't Buy me Love".

ENBB, Friday, 25 February 2011 11:55 (fifteen years ago)

Christine Greatest Troll Ever Indigo

gr8080, Friday, 25 February 2011 13:25 (fifteen years ago)

NO. Never. I never troll people. I love discussion boards too much to do that to them.

Christine Green Leafy Dragon Indigo, Friday, 25 February 2011 14:14 (fifteen years ago)

Christine, how do you define "short term"?

Johnny Fever, Friday, 25 February 2011 16:58 (fifteen years ago)

The Ronnie Express.

OLD MAN YELLS AT SHOUT RAP (chrisv2010), Friday, 25 February 2011 17:00 (fifteen years ago)

xp This one lasted two days and was gone.

Christine Green Leafy Dragon Indigo, Friday, 25 February 2011 17:30 (fifteen years ago)

most weeks I don't really miss it.

kind of shrill and very self-righteous (Dr Morbius), Saturday, 26 February 2011 04:03 (fifteen years ago)

Lucky you! I miss my period one week and I start worrying I'm pregnant for sure.

wizards of wonder are the keepers of knowledge (Abbbottt), Saturday, 26 February 2011 04:06 (fifteen years ago)

i am basically constantly terrified that i'm pregnant

HOOStory is back. Fasten your steenbelts. (BIG HOOS aka the steendriver), Saturday, 26 February 2011 04:30 (fifteen years ago)

i have twice dreamt that i was pregnant. it felt (in my dream) like i had to take a shit. (though i did not actually have to shit, fyi.)

curiously, in my dream i was surprised but not upset about the situation

mookieproof, Saturday, 26 February 2011 04:33 (fifteen years ago)

i think i had a pregnancy dream once tbh. i didn't know how to take it.

banjee trillness (The Reverend), Saturday, 26 February 2011 07:14 (fifteen years ago)

xp I meant the STN, not my period--that usually lasts 3-4 days (sometimes 1 or 2). And my husband had a vasectomy 15 years before I met him, so I don't have to worry about that.

Christine Green Leafy Dragon Indigo, Sunday, 27 February 2011 01:15 (fifteen years ago)

The pregnancy dream that I talked about on the 77 What's Happening thread is the only one I've had that I can remember.

Christine Green Leafy Dragon Indigo, Sunday, 27 February 2011 01:17 (fifteen years ago)

My sex drive has been almost zero lately. Like, I haven't even gone looking for pr0n to kill time. I think I've only rubbed one out about twice in the last month. I've heard that's a sign of depression, but I don't think that's what this is. My day to day life is typically upbeat and I'm not dwelling on any weighty problems, but sex just seems to be something my mind/body isn't gravitating toward recently.

Guess I'm not fishing for solutions, just reassurance that I'm not broken.

Johnny Fever, Sunday, 27 February 2011 20:25 (fifteen years ago)

Eh, thats basically how I operate 80% of the time (even in a relationship, which has been an issue).

I'd gladly swap with you - my current state is not usual for me and is turning me into a complete idiot. Who needs this shit.

gnarly gnarlingtons in my life (Trayce), Sunday, 27 February 2011 21:21 (fifteen years ago)

xp Depression doesn't just manifest itself as being sad; it can also manifest itself as constant irritation and/or unexplained vague physical ailments. Do you have any of those?

Christine Green Leafy Dragon Indigo, Monday, 28 February 2011 01:21 (fifteen years ago)

Depression can manifest as just being alive!

wizards of wonder are the keepers of knowledge (Abbbottt), Monday, 28 February 2011 01:41 (fifteen years ago)

t-bomb

mookieproof, Monday, 28 February 2011 01:46 (fifteen years ago)

I think you're alright. I like to think my libido alternates between "healthy", as they say, to nonexistent, both for significant periods of time - I'm reasonably certain that this is differentiated from out-and-out depression, which I think I've dallied with once or twice in the past.

The Future Of The Internet Is Interns (R Baez), Monday, 28 February 2011 01:46 (fifteen years ago)

it can also manifest itself as constant irritation and/or unexplained vague physical ailments

Other than just being irritated at the whole world in a general sense, no...neither of these apply.

Johnny Fever, Monday, 28 February 2011 04:12 (fifteen years ago)

I'm glad to hear that.

Christine Green Leafy Dragon Indigo, Tuesday, 1 March 2011 01:05 (fifteen years ago)

being in a body is so weird, like you have to put other stuff into it to stay alive and then go unconscious for several hours each time the planet goes around and then sometimes you need to mix with other people and there is this whole body of mythology and epic poetry and hbo series built around it

that said i think it is unhealthy to go for a long period of time w/o having sex; it's not conducive to mental health etc. we naturally feed off of the earth, everything we take in as food comes from the earth, but by way of the sun and the moon

but anyway sexual repression is bad imo

@xpac5896 In '69 I was just out of the Marine Corps and two tours in the Nam. I spent that summer in my VW bus with my dog travelling the California Coast and Oregon trying to come back home. I was lucky enough to be in Big Sur that beautiful September weekend to be part of one of the most magical times, the Big Sur Festival. CSN and later Y helped me find a life again. God I love these guys and their music!!! It will live longer than we will!

did essra mohawk really inspire joni mitchell to write 'woodstock'?

dell (del), Tuesday, 1 March 2011 15:46 (fifteen years ago)

youtube comments are so telling. like, pure democracy would never work and would be the most horrible thing ever. the same ppl that feel compelled to post comments on websites would show up to town meetings and we'd be living in a country where glenn beck gets airtime or something. total balls.

we should model our government after the band republica

dell (del), Tuesday, 1 March 2011 15:54 (fifteen years ago)

xp It's not 'being in a body'. You are your body, whether you like it or not.

Christine Green Leafy Dragon Indigo, Tuesday, 1 March 2011 19:10 (fifteen years ago)
