I can remember a film something like this, except it wasn't a house it was a ship, but it was on fire, and some guy, or some guys did get eaten by some giant crappy CGI creature w tentacles all over the ship. I saw it on cable TV at my mother in laws place, I watched it all and lol'd loads, but I was pretty drunk as I usually am when staying there. Part of the appeal of some fetishes might be transgression, and if the fetish is the whole thing without context, then the contrast of normal v transgression is lacking. I hope that makes sense.
