A friend of a friend works for a big company, they might use a song my wife and I made for an online ad. He is asking us how much we would charge them for "internet usage rights" for the song. A quick Google finds no info on this topic in re: songs/music. Any idea if there's a standard sum that people get paid for their songs to be used in an online ad? Or if there's different terminology I should be looking for?
