Did a search and couldn't find another thread - point me to it if you know of one
I'm finishing up an album and I'm quite stoked about it. I'm aiming to use kickstarter to sell maybe 50-100 copies of the record to friends and fund a pressing myself with the difference.
Any advise on vinyl pressers in the US that are reliable and easy to work with, especially for small releases?
For those asking why I'm self releasing instead of label shopping: - I'm bad at self marketing - I'm in SF where there's a very limited electronic music scene and don't have many connections - I just want a decent physical copy of my music already and this seems to be the fastest way to do it and I have the money to fund it - I'm totally open to having a label support me, but it feels like simply getting friends and such a copy of this in the next few months would be faster for now.

I don't know anything about this, but your question reminded me of ads I see in Razorcake magazine such as for www.luckylacquers.com.
according to the ad, 500 12"s for $1253. (including Master Lacquers Flat Cut, Masters Shipping, Plating, 4 Tests, 2-Color Center Art, White Paper Sleeves)
Maybe that's a starting point.

I've seen quite a number of independent pressers, and prices in the $1000-1500 range for small run, just wanted to know if anyone else has gone down this path and had any recommendations

Avoid United Record Pressing at all costs (which will be easy, as I don't think they do runs of under 300 anymore, but they used to).
I've heard very good things about Gotta Groove (http://www.gottagrooverecords.com), and they'll do runs of 100. I don't know if anyone does runs of less than that, though.

we've used these guys for several runs as they are local (altho they use that the Czech printing plant): http://piratespress.com/cms/
