i have srs problems w/the pricing on zvex stuff and (no offense to your friend) kind of a knee jerk negative reaction to the whole handpainted pedal thing. Screenprints on pedals can look super cool, why you gotta make it a l33t one of a kind artisnal blah blah imo.

yeah i dunno much about them. all that shit is way out of my price range, still for her as an artist/music gear geek it's a dream job...and they look cool as hell, she just posted one they made for nels cline:

oh her stuff looks super cool, and i get that people want their shit to look cool (for example i am sure that some of the stuff i stock wouldn't sell nearly as well w/o having grabber graphics and w/e.) really my issue is with the pricing on zvex stuff in general. if i have a pedal that costs $300, it better do some pretty amazing stuff.

iirc mojo hand brad is a good guy and folks seem to dig their fuzzes and the analog filter.

Walrus' stuff is so great. Just ordered a Voyager from them - can't wait to get back home to try it out.

new analog delay from ibanez (the es2) just showed up and it is totally fucking amazing. 30-1000 ms analog delay with tap tempo, modulation, and a feedback switch for $150 street - it's pretty unbeatable and all of you should buy it.

yeah, the echorec is still way out of my price range, but the ibanez is... still way out of my price range this month at least, but a lot closer to my budget, but very impressive given other entries in that price range.

haha i agree on the game changer phrase but i couldnt think of any other way to put it. the oscillation is bizarrely pitch shift based instead of being a chorus, so on extreme settings it sweeps maybe 5 half steps above and below the original signal. never heard a $150 pedal with this much crazy built into it, esp when you throw an oscillation mode and a tap tempo in there.

in other news, sold a henretta choad blaster to a guy today for use on bass and it sounded fantastic.

i want to hear reports on the mad doctor stutter once dan gets a cord. just fyi, the rate and ratio controls are supposed to be highly interactive, so don't get freaked out when that happens (like i did until i talked to the dude from idiotbox).

Last weekend I had a chance to try out the Earthquaker Organizer and ended up picking it up. Amazingly great sound, but am not quite sure that it works well with others.

Just thinking that the odd harmonic stuff rolling out of lunar module might go a little wacky when run through the organizer. Is the skreddy buffered tho?
