it does look like the windows open to allow a person to pass through, at least? i think you can technically use the stairs to get from floor to floor, it's just that doing so would make you spontaneously combust from pretentiousness.

There's a hidden stairwell underneath the giant ornamental stairs.

oh yeah those are doors, didn't realize. the angle of the stairs makes it look like many people would trip going outside that way.

And yeah, the wasted space is awful. WTF is this room? How is this pleasant in any way?

I'm pretty sure some rooms have floor-to-ceiling glass windows keeping you from walking right off the edge and falling onto the useless cement stairs. Also god forbid you have to pick your nose because absolutely everyone is going to witness it.

the precious moments mansion is just an incredible monument to narcissism, there's so much of it but it's really amazing how banal it all is.
