I'm just amazed at how fully the homeowner in Detroit really committed to the bit. And interestingly they didn't make any wild STRUCTURAL choices? Like the bathrooms have VERY standard fixtures and tiles. Where they really dove all-in was in literally every atom of decor, literally everywhere. It's impressive.

The last of those reminds me of when we were first house hunting in London. We rang a doorbell a few times for a viewing with no answer and were just about to leave when we heard a flushing noise and a wee old man appeared at the door. He then made the mistake of showing off his poorly ventilated Harry-Potter-Cupboard-Loo-Conversion first. The stench would have floored a horse.
