i haven't been able to get a single kb of upload for YEARS, my ratio just slowly goes down over time. can't compete w/ the serious seedbox setups i guess?

It's pretty opaque to me, but I did ok reinflating my ratio a couple of years ago by quickly grabbing new uploads that looked like they might be popular, even if I didn't really want them. Older rips of canon classics (ie 2gb versions not 10+gb ones) also seem to get some sluggish but useful action. As I say, it's opaque to me - might just have been lucky.

none of youse ever tempted to pay a small amount for a usenet provider and reliable nzb site? I did it last year and don't miss all the faff with ratio one bit.

have found freeleech system makes it pretty easy. just download a few things that have only just been marked freeleech and leave the client running

yeah grab freeleech stuff and make your upload isn't limited, also the yearly global freeleech period (around winter/christmastime usually?) let it rip

i was able to get my account reinstated easily
just go on their chat (linked from the login page), say "help", and keep it open until someone reactivates your account. i waited about 15-20 mins, anticipated it would be hours. i guess this is a good time to try!

well, with PTP still down for many weeks now, I'm getting a little antsy here. if anyone has invites, would def be appreciated. I can offer invites to other places that you almost certainly won't care about!

Does anyone have a kg or ptp invite perchance? Tryin' to get me mitts on some Hungarian documentary films made between the late 80s early 90s. As one can imagine, it has proved quite difficult. I don't have much to offer except... my friendship. :D

I'm the typical guy who takes the opportunity to say that he's going to start studying film and needs invitations to Karagarga and Patiodebutacas. In reality, I'm a film director and my films are so bad that they can only be found there. Does anyone have invitations?

Filmmaker Tries to Unmask Private Torrent Tracker Owners through Cloudflare

Through a DMCA subpoena directed at Cloudflare, an independent filmmaker is trying to uncover the identities of people connected to several prominent private torrent trackers. The legal paperwork was obtained at a California federal court and targets HDbits, PassThePopcorn, BroadcasTheNet, KaraGarga, and others. The information was requested for copyright protection purposes, without clarifying what this would entail.

Despite their comparatively low public profiles, these platforms are well known and have been established for many years.

Karagarga (KG), for example, has been around since 2005 and offers access to a wealth of film obscurities. The site focuses on archiving rare classic and cult movies. Blockbusters and other popular Hollywood releases can’t be found on the site, as uploading them is strictly forbidden.

HDbits was launched around the same time, with no restrictions on popular film titles, while PassThePorpcorn and BroadcasTheNet both came onto the scene a few years later. Despite early DDoS attempts, these Gazelle-based trackers have been going strong for more than 15 years.

The subpoena was obtained by filmmaker Matthew Schneider, who stated that he owns the rights to several movies. The titles include Do Us Part, Split: A Film Anthology, and Orlando Gloom - Always the Same. These are linked to the Canadian company Dirtbag Films, which has not been very active recently.

As shown below, the filmmaker listed the URLs through which his works are allegedly shared on these sites. These URLs are not public, so Schneider or someone he works with presumably has access to these elusive trackers.
