Gogglebox is the most depressing thing. My girlfriend puts it on and I have to leave the room.

there are little mysteries woven in, like there's this one kid on the couch who has literally never said a single thing over like two season. and how the jackass gentleman drunk has not managed to totally alienate his wife. etc
