I'm going to have to recalibrate my comfort/style level (although the thread may rightfully say I have terrible style to begin with). I was looking at a couple weeks of carrying a large backpack through the city, doing a ton of walking and dancing, and decided to buy some absolutely boring-ass Nike Frees and I now I know why people who do little more than use a standing desk are in lightweight running shoes all the time.

At no point did my back hurt! I'm not getting old, I just need comfortable shoes with support. OK, maybe I'm getting old

I'm old and switching to Hokas made my PF go away. So, I bought a pair of black Transports for when I'm not running.

Sometimes I find myself thinking a pair of ONs looks really nice and then I feel slightly embarrassed to think so. IDK why, it's kind of the same way I feel about Volvo SUVs, they look nice but there's a slight UMC slime to them.

Top ones have all the waterproofing etc which is genuinely fairly useful given I won't bother to wear actual boots apart from here and there.

top ones are nice in the trail running/hiking zone, shoes like that do tend to have stiff soles and are generally more structured idk if those do tho maybe something worth considering if you care about that sort of thing

It still looks a bit like the boost sole but prob is a bit tougher alright. Assuming the NB will be like walking on a cloud with that chunky sole.
