i had a nice shirt from them that i got in 2012 and when it died a couple of years ago i was very sad

lol aftering reading this i went and looked at saturday surf's website and saw this shirt which is a prime example of your complaint i guess. i do kinda like it tho. they also do have some w/o a back graphic but they are less cool to me than this one

I never feel comfortable buying graphic tees because I feel like I'm out of the loop on the semiotics of them, and I'll be accidentally making myself out to be a part of some subculture I'm not actually attuned to. Plus I'm 39 years old.

ah cool - i got one in london but like saturdays i assume they convert direct to sterling from dollars which kinda makes me avoid unless i am in the us.

i came around on saturdays because i bought a couple of pairs of graphic canvas shoes from them circa like 2014 and just loved them. they were super reasonable (like $60 maybe?) and i literally wore them to pieces, good profile andd colors. it is also super likely i have posted about them on ils at some point

like years ago just a few years before every guido was wearing a shirt w a graphic that flirtily crawled over their shoulder or onto the sleeve or whatever i ran into this guy i knew on the street and he introduced me to his boyfriend who was wearing one of those shirts, he was all hey come check out my shop i just opened around the corner and i was like yeah ok (to myself whatever), the shop was opening ceremony

i don't actually want to get yoga pants / sweat pants i don't think but i'm bored with chinos and jeans and want to try something more adventurous and fashion-y i guess. i have muscular legs and could probably pull off something a little ridic and flamboyant but i don't know where to look.

The fact that so many dudes are wearing sweatpants in public now makes me want to die. It's not a good look ever an only acceptable if you're actually doing exercise or something. Also, I've seen more unwelcome peen in the past few months from guys wearing sweatpants than I have in years. Nope.
