but if anyone has a clue wtf I am talking about, pls remind me what brand this is/was? iirc someone was asking about good quality but not outrageously priced dress shoes to wear to a wedding?

anyhow at the time of posting I looked at the mystery brand's website for shoes for myself (not a man but a wearer of men's dress shoes) and was like oh hey I like these, better remember this brand and well there you go.

infinity symbol brought it up first but i stand by understated late90s early 2000s Y's for Men that can be picked up cheap in koenji thrift stores, and some of what's on the secondary, tertiary cheaper lines that seem to increase exponentially (there's a kamen rider yohji ground y collab that keeps popping up on web ads) and are possibly unknown outside of japan but popular mostly with gothy mainland chinese teenagers.
