i think the velva sheen classic crew neck sweatshirt is nicer than the ball park and its like 60% of the price. i own one in each of black, navy and heather grey

i think ive recommended them like 25 times itt but alternative apparel makes a good crewneck sweatshirt called "the champ" that u cn get for like $25

i bought a couple of those velva sheen ones mentioned by lamp at the very same time i bought my real mccoys sweatshirts and they were really, really nice! i kept the mccoys and returned the velva sheens though because i thought the mccoys were more substantial and the fit was more flattering to me (boxier)

btw that was eight years ago, people still ask me if my mccoys sweatshirts are new when i wear them.

i bought 8 s/s linen shirts from jcrew factory during a sale that was insane even for them (50% and BOGOF offers stacked). came out to $12/shirt.

i sent two back. they refunded the full price for the two shirts, so it's worked out so that i got six shirts for free.

i want to rock the pleated pants with billowy shirt look like 80s armani or david sylvian but everything's so slim and not pleated now. aside from thrifting which i have no patience for does anyone know where i can find that sort of stuff?

and I basically think suitsupply is good but their pants are the worst thing they make. they're all basically stuck on skinny fit.

If this thread is seriously ready to get into pleated pants then I think it’s time for a new thread. Or maybe even a “str8 fire epic trousers” thread unto itself.

that's a very anachronistic view, pants and suit styles are cyclical by decade. pleats have been tracing in for a couple years, will be big old normie shit within a few years, and by the time everyone has them again the peak style will have shifted

they're somewhat slimmer pleats this iteration but the fashion boundary is straight-up 90s
