i have this thing from cote & ciel, it's decent enough i guess and inconspicuous for the office

i have one of those in a slightly different model - i liked it a lot more in the pics online than when it arrived, it was way bigger than it looked and i learned a lesson to check the size of a bag by measurement. ended up abandoning it and will prob sell it.

one of the good things about LOL health goth is that it made sportswear look kind of sleek and stylish for all of 6 months. looks like we're back to dayglo bile now though

have to say some of this stuff is cool but other shit looks like those free reusable bags that are made of recycled plastic

kind of remind of that trend in puffy down jackets that look like shiny black trashbags

oh for sure, the appeal is mostly utilitarian -- they're waterproof and p much indestructible

My current backpack is a vendor freebie I got from a tech conference. Can't get much more stylish than that.

for about 4 years. it's p well made, has held together perfectly.

it is kind of ugly. my wife uses it mostly nowadays and basically hates the way it looks and constantly complains about how dorky it is and how she needs to buy a new one

I bought a stylish Converse pack last year for its looks and it makes me crazy that it's unwaxed cotton canvas that sticks to clothes and doesn't slide on and off easily, and that the cute retro metal zipper teeth stick and take two hands to zip up. I'm buying an ugly functional one next time.

I have a boring macpac one that is I guess looks like GEAR but in a non-performative way. Usually though I'm lugging around my bike pannier which is super ugly but hey.

that skagen backpack is nice, i am having a super difficult time finding one in black without a bunch of stuff going on.

bought an APC backpack a few weeks ago but it had giant silver buckles that looked shiny/terrible in person.. returned.. bought one from want les essentiels on sale and it's too big and boxy for me, returned. still looking. i want something i can take to work because my work tote bag is pretty old. and i hate 99% of all women's bags and purses especially ones with any kind of logo or hardware or stuff going on, but i also don't want it to be made of cheap looking material. thinking of ordering something from hope stockholm

Been using a North Face Recon backpack for several years now. Ugly, but it's lasted longer than any previous backpack/messenger bag I've owned previously.

i have a rains holdall i use for the gym, they make nice v minimal bags. not so into that backpack tho, just a bit long for my liking.
