those look nice. classic look. yeah sometimes you just have to find something you love and stick with its. I have a lot of vans cos i go to the outlet store and do the buy one get one half off at least a few times a year (basically two pair for 50-60). I try all kinda weird color combos cos why not at that price

i wear wite vans in the summer

wear them w/o socks / wash them in the machine to remove odor and dirt / they become v soft

bball shoes i buy a new pair each season. do a bunch of research and wait for the previous year models to drop in price

white vans are timeless. love pretty much any canvas vans in the summer. always wear a sock tho.

id stay clear of the ISOs, and any of the hi tops (alomars are nice tho). the brigata is not my thing either, too sperry-esque. the "old skool" and "half cabs" are a little too skater for me. stick with the "authentics" or "era" (my fav). slip ons were never my thing

perhaps. pic up osted are the first gel lytes i've seen with that same soft matte palette as the NB 420s

Been fucking w the asics for a minute, I like them a lot more than nb's for some unknowable reason but I do tend to push a hole through the top of them w my toe fairly quickly it kind of sucks

I just got these and they're even better in person. there's two contrasting materials - a buff suede around the toes and then around the heels it's a sort of hard reflective material, maybe nylon? anyway they are super comfy and there's just this little touch of luxness and glamor to them which of course no one clocks but me. even though they're off-white they haven't gotten dirty the way a canvas version of these would. very happy i found these - needed a successor to my trashed tretorn nylites and these are raising the bar
