saw a dude on the subway today with one of those super long jackets, like it wasn't a coat, it was a jacket that went down to his ankles. Didn't really like it. Stop trying to make ultralong jackets/shirts happen.

i have this heavy flannel shirt-jacket, more like a jacket tbh (it has pockets), i have been experimenting w/ buttoning the top button, i feel like it works for this jacket, it a nice balance against an otherwise kind of chunky and rugged piece of clothing.

also that spiritual guru cardigan is dope but i couldn't do it myself

also how do yall feel about army patterns ie camo? i wear that "military green" color all the time but i haven't ever worn like true camo idk if i could do it or not

Dislike. But I think that is partially because of the PTSD I have from growing up in the american south.

camo can work i think. i mean camo pants are a no-go and a camo bandana on your head is a DEFINITE no-go (lol bandanas on heads) but... i wouldn't urle it out, it's an interesting pattern.

I can get with old-school 80s camo to some degree but nowadays when I think about camo clothing it's all Realtree and Mossy Oak logo stuff on dudes in big trucks with WOLVES: SMOKE A PACK A DAY stickers in the rear window or women in the pink version of the same with COWGIRL UP stickers in their rear windows.

nb: I live near Idaho.

i think part of what made me think "hmm maybe?" is the colors, they go well w/ olive or brown skin

don't stick yourself with novelty outerwear, you have to wear it every day and you will reduce yourself to a one-joke walk-in character in the sitcom of somebody else's life

prob wouldn't wear camo garments, never have, but i do have a camo scarf, like a wool scarf in camo - it is p great imo esp when i mostly wear all black or all navy

the only ppl that i see wearing camo are like late 30s art dads that pair them with new balance 556s. like most military-inspired street fashion stuff it always seems kinda lame

generally i associate camo with the mentally ill and actual military people but i do have a hot photo of me and my gf merging into one in matching camo tshirts that I wld never post here ofc

i understand not wanting to wear camouflage but that covers a pretty broad swath of patterns and they're not all military flavored. there's a differences in signification between, say, digital camo or desert camo and woodland hunting camo. would never wear the former but i can fuck with the latter in moderation.
