uniqlo has the best reasonably priced kids clothing. My kid is the coolest in her jewish preschool. #kidswear

I mean when you're 3.5 years old, a long t-shirt with a print of an obscure Warhol drawing over jeggings and a pair of saucony trainers is next level shit.

on entre O.K. on sort K.O. (man alive), Tuesday, 27 October 2015 19:21 (ten years ago)

weird thats exactly what im wearing

lag∞n, Tuesday, 27 October 2015 19:23 (ten years ago)

btw the term "trainers" is making headway in america isnt it

lag∞n, Tuesday, 27 October 2015 19:27 (ten years ago)

didn't occur to me that it's not a US thing, but I'm also not sure where I picked it up bc I used to call them sneakers when I was a kid.

on entre O.K. on sort K.O. (man alive), Tuesday, 27 October 2015 19:55 (ten years ago)

ya its english but ive def been noticing it, tho it seems like ppl here r using it more to mean running/cross training type sneaker specificallty

lag∞n, Tuesday, 27 October 2015 19:56 (ten years ago)

yeah in the uk a pair of sambas is firmly in the trainer category - y because it's athletic innit

lag∞n, Tuesday, 27 October 2015 20:36 (ten years ago)

i can confirm that i mean yes uniqlo is awesome duh but moreso that their underwear is cheap, soft, and is surprisingly high quality and lasts for a good while and omg SO cute patterns

My wife bought that shirt or a very similar one, but the pattern turned out not to look good on her and she returned it. She has some other art t-shirts from them that are p cool and not corny the way you would expect an art t-shirt to be.

on entre O.K. on sort K.O. (man alive), Wednesday, 28 October 2015 03:16 (ten years ago)

design rather, not really a pattern

on entre O.K. on sort K.O. (man alive), Wednesday, 28 October 2015 03:17 (ten years ago)

feel like their quality is getting worse all the time, the underwear included. either that or my genitals are becoming more corrosive as i age.

for a limited time converse is offering design-your-own chucks in woolrich patterns

my closet is already full so I need to wear a couple of pairs out

mattresslessness, Wednesday, 28 October 2015 16:32 (ten years ago)

u shd get them imo

lag∞n, Wednesday, 28 October 2015 16:37 (ten years ago)

I like

on entre O.K. on sort K.O. (man alive), Wednesday, 28 October 2015 16:38 (ten years ago)

yea i like those

i found it difficult last year to find a good everyday winter boot that is stylish but still pretty hardcore functional and that would do it tbh

marcos, Wednesday, 28 October 2015 16:39 (ten years ago)

Yeah, def a good balance between style and functionality it seems, like you wouldn't feel goofy wearing them on non-snowy days but they look like they can handle a little snow.

on entre O.K. on sort K.O. (man alive), Wednesday, 28 October 2015 16:47 (ten years ago)

good for wet days, not too chunky, in my budget. kudos to p.f. flyers for successfully targeting my boot-searching ass on fb. probably get a pair next month.

mattresslessness, Wednesday, 28 October 2015 16:49 (ten years ago)

do those happen to come in brown?

call all destroyer, Wednesday, 28 October 2015 17:11 (ten years ago)

lol i think there are a few very dope pieces of menswear in kanye's yeezy line http://www.vogue.com/fashion-shows/fall-2015-ready-to-wear/kanye-west-adidas-originals/slideshow/collection

would wear some of those sweatshirts, he def has sweatshirts down imo

marcos, Wednesday, 28 October 2015 18:01 (ten years ago)

and the colors are great, charchoal, dark olive, lots of neutrals

marcos, Wednesday, 28 October 2015 18:03 (ten years ago)

i think some of it is nice, yeah, the parka maybe - isn't like 2000 dollars for a t-shirt or something, despite all his long-winded interviews about making it accessible and affordable?

doing my Objectives, handling some intense stuff (LocalGarda), Wednesday, 28 October 2015 19:48 (ten years ago)

(i wouldn't wear any of it even still just because of all the morons who prob will)

doing my Objectives, handling some intense stuff (LocalGarda), Wednesday, 28 October 2015 19:48 (ten years ago)

Looks like costumes for a minimal stage production of Children of Men

on entre O.K. on sort K.O. (man alive), Wednesday, 28 October 2015 19:49 (ten years ago)

mostly in a good way though

on entre O.K. on sort K.O. (man alive), Wednesday, 28 October 2015 19:50 (ten years ago)

loooooool

marcos, Wednesday, 28 October 2015 20:31 (ten years ago)

the long shirt harem cut pants profile has gone from high fashion to douchebag signifier in record time

lag∞n, Wednesday, 28 October 2015 21:35 (ten years ago)

i bought a pair two years ago and have been too embarrassed to wear them in public -- the material is so thin that yr dick and balls become horribly outlined when you hit an oncoming breeze

clouds, Wednesday, 28 October 2015 21:40 (ten years ago)

you mean sensationally outlined

illegal economic migration (Tracer Hand), Wednesday, 28 October 2015 21:53 (ten years ago)

long shirts can be nice - there are a wide variety - tho i don't think i mean this in the same way

doing my Objectives, handling some intense stuff (LocalGarda), Wednesday, 28 October 2015 22:31 (ten years ago)

theres nothing wrong w a long shirt or pants w a low crotch just noticing what cultural niche has enthusiasm for their combination

lag∞n, Thursday, 29 October 2015 15:01 (ten years ago)

kayne is of course a confessed douchebag

lag∞n, Thursday, 29 October 2015 15:02 (ten years ago)

i mean long shirt skinny pants is also a popular profile that has its own partisans

lag∞n, Thursday, 29 October 2015 15:04 (ten years ago)

harem pants are generally not good

marcos, Thursday, 29 October 2015 15:33 (ten years ago)

i do like the baggy sweatshirt + slim pants look on some of these models

marcos, Thursday, 29 October 2015 15:33 (ten years ago)

kanye certainly doesn't care about sleeve lengths being cut too long huh

marcos, Thursday, 29 October 2015 15:34 (ten years ago)

like at this point i just think of bieber when i see harem pants

marcos, Thursday, 29 October 2015 15:35 (ten years ago)

I don't really ever have any idea what to think when I see runway fashion anyway and I can't say this stuff seems more ridiculous than other stuff I've seen, possibly less, and also I think knee-jerk Kanye hate is really boring. That zombie macro is funny though.

on entre O.K. on sort K.O. (man alive), Thursday, 29 October 2015 18:55 (ten years ago)

boring... wow strong stuff

lag∞n, Thursday, 29 October 2015 18:56 (ten years ago)

Good clothes for lagoon http://techcrunch.com/2015/10/28/yajoe-makes-clothes-for-all-us-nerds-geeks/

𝔠𝔞𝔢𝔨 (caek), Thursday, 29 October 2015 19:13 (ten years ago)

I may be wrong, but from this nerd's perspective, these clothes fail the nerd sniff test because of the price tag their carrying: $198 for the quantum hoodie, $98 for the nimiq shirt, $72 for a plaid shirt, $28 for a t-shirt that doesn't even have an awesome science quote? I think you're confusing us with hipsters. $24 for a single pair of boxer briefs?

dead (Lamp), Thursday, 29 October 2015 19:29 (ten years ago)

wish there were a more identifiable pejorative way to refer to these garbage people. everyone is a fucking nerd now.

clouds, Thursday, 29 October 2015 19:35 (ten years ago)

call them techmunches

nerd shit (Will M.), Thursday, 29 October 2015 19:47 (ten years ago)
