true those army synthetic ones are pretty serious

patagonia did one a few years ago that looked awesome, it was like specifically designed for the army but also sold to consumers, it was a cool coat

marcos, Tuesday, 27 October 2015 16:19 (ten years ago)

xxxto man alive, looking at woolrich website is getting me super excited about winter tbh

marcos, Tuesday, 27 October 2015 16:19 (ten years ago)

ha, was just doing the same, woolrich has some really nice stuff although the nicest is super expensive. Miss the days when it was just a brand and not a "heritage brand"

on entre O.K. on sort K.O. (man alive), Tuesday, 27 October 2015 16:20 (ten years ago)

yea totally, i do have a nice flannel from them that is a little oversized but nice for layering on top, pretty much wear it around the house only though because it does have kind of a pajama feel

marcos, Tuesday, 27 October 2015 16:23 (ten years ago)

also carhartt has a bunch of casual winter coats that i really dig on other folks but ultimately i feel like doesn't work for me, the "workwear" aspect just really makes me feel like i am fronting

a few years ago i bought one of those carhartt hooded duck jackets that like all the construction workers wear and immediately sent it back, add to the list of things i dig on other people but not on me

marcos, Tuesday, 27 October 2015 16:23 (ten years ago)

that carhartt rough canvas material looks great when it is broken-in

marcos, Tuesday, 27 October 2015 16:26 (ten years ago)

woolrich mountain parka is one of my all time fav garments may have mentioned itt

lag∞n, Tuesday, 27 October 2015 16:27 (ten years ago)

engineered garments does a lot of stuff a bit like that but it can be expensive.

uniqlo has the best reasonably priced kids clothing. My kid is the coolest in her jewish preschool. #kidswear

on entre O.K. on sort K.O. (man alive), Tuesday, 27 October 2015 19:19 (ten years ago)

I mean when you're 3.5 years old, a long t-shirt with a print of an obscure Warhol drawing over jeggings and a pair of saucony trainers is next level shit.

on entre O.K. on sort K.O. (man alive), Tuesday, 27 October 2015 19:21 (ten years ago)

weird thats exactly what im wearing

lag∞n, Tuesday, 27 October 2015 19:23 (ten years ago)

btw the term "trainers" is making headway in america isnt it

lag∞n, Tuesday, 27 October 2015 19:27 (ten years ago)

didn't occur to me that it's not a US thing, but I'm also not sure where I picked it up bc I used to call them sneakers when I was a kid.

on entre O.K. on sort K.O. (man alive), Tuesday, 27 October 2015 19:55 (ten years ago)

ya its english but ive def been noticing it, tho it seems like ppl here r using it more to mean running/cross training type sneaker specificallty

lag∞n, Tuesday, 27 October 2015 19:56 (ten years ago)

yeah in the uk a pair of sambas is firmly in the trainer category - y because it's athletic innit

lag∞n, Tuesday, 27 October 2015 20:36 (ten years ago)

i can confirm that i mean yes uniqlo is awesome duh but moreso that their underwear is cheap, soft, and is surprisingly high quality and lasts for a good while and omg SO cute patterns

Ina-Garten-Da-Vida (Stevie D(eux)), Wednesday, 28 October 2015 01:03 (ten years ago)

My wife bought that shirt or a very similar one, but the pattern turned out not to look good on her and she returned it. She has some other art t-shirts from them that are p cool and not corny the way you would expect an art t-shirt to be.

on entre O.K. on sort K.O. (man alive), Wednesday, 28 October 2015 03:16 (ten years ago)

design rather, not really a pattern

on entre O.K. on sort K.O. (man alive), Wednesday, 28 October 2015 03:17 (ten years ago)

feel like their quality is getting worse all the time, the underwear included. either that or my genitals are becoming more corrosive as i age.

I like

on entre O.K. on sort K.O. (man alive), Wednesday, 28 October 2015 16:38 (ten years ago)

yea i like those

i found it difficult last year to find a good everyday winter boot that is stylish but still pretty hardcore functional and that would do it tbh

marcos, Wednesday, 28 October 2015 16:39 (ten years ago)

Yeah, def a good balance between style and functionality it seems, like you wouldn't feel goofy wearing them on non-snowy days but they look like they can handle a little snow.
