this has always been a thing, especially when $$ edgy fashions are always subsumed into the mainstream, accelerated by the quick uptake these days

like no one bats an eye at somewhat technical gear but u will get head nods from those in the know for stone island projects or acronym or w/e

i will say as a counterpoint that not too long ago it was common practice for high end fashion lines to literally cover their garments with logos

there are so many things in life which are beyond our control, what we wear is a small good thing that we can decide each day.

The decision of what to wear every day is a chore for me, but I like to feel well-dressed. thank you. my Grandmother had the original women's design back in the 80s. it is one of the most beautiful signature prints.

It's a very nice bag, beautiful even, but it kind of looks like "I am a dandy and I attend Princeton University. Unfortunately my driver was unavailable and I had to take the amtrak home for the weekend."

im not like that passionate abt this argument and yet i cant let go lol, he was agreeing that its like that now but saying its always been like that, then just offered an example of it being like that now, and it was an example from a niche purveyor in a niche corner of the industry

when of course my argument was that the gnostic aspect of fashion is particularly trending particularly trending now

and of course u cn say fashion has always had an in the know quality which im sure is true i mean it didnt have zero % in the know quality but my point was not that zero in the know quality existed before but rather that it is particularly dominatnt know
