along those lines, i am hereby amending my comments on jean shorts and going on record as saying that they are indeed acceptable if cut at home and worn in only the right circumstances

cuffs are OK because they imply the presence of a ragged cutoff or at least don't foreclose the possibility

hemmed jorts are fine. i am loving my hemmed jorts. this is definitely a us thing.

I think I have a pair of silver shadows in my parents' house somewhere. i used to wear them to go jogging, then stopped jogging as i hate it and started riding my bike instead, and they have languished ever since.

i really need a new pair of sneakers, but having lots of difficulty finding anything cause im vegan and p much everything is leather/suede. sick of canvas supergas and the like cause they never last me and they have no padding.

health goth is at its peak but it will dwindle shortly

been noticing some regular sneakers that have made canvas versions, like my sister had a pair of new balance like that, i think there were a pair of nikes posted in either this or the shoe thread xp

w/r/t shirts, i have been switching it up btw oversize and like XS it's fun

i have a black longline t-shirt now and i like it because it means i can stand up straight without feeling like i'm gonna show people my midriff. that said i've only worn it out once or twice cos sometimes tbf it looks a bit like a dress. it's about pairing it with the right clothes and i haven't quite worked that out yet.

I got my first pair of Gustin jeans, which is really my first pair of anything remotely approaching *good* denim. They're blue-black (sort of a dark navy that winds up looking different in different lights), and I sort of wish I bought something more classic, but they have a really nice weight and feel, and get very comfy quickly even though they're slightly tight when I put them on.

I got the "straight fit" and I feel like there's something a little square about the cut, but I can't put my finger on it. I also got a Gustin oxford shirt (slim) and felt kind of the same way about the cut -- very square.

i don't think i ever told you guys about my recent epiphany. i wear my glasses when i get dressed for work now. i didn't used to. it has changed everything and i can't imagine what i looked like all these years.

xps i do typically like tshirts to be a little loose. i can't stand tight necks or short arms on my tees. i am a skinny dude and buy size small in button downs but in tees i always buy medium

xp i really need to buy new frames, like i have gone on way too long with the same black wire frames
