that one is insanely long and pointy but traditionally long and pointy connotes formality

flopson, Thursday, 25 June 2015 23:35 (eleven years ago)

Maybe it's a British thing lagoon, cos these shoes are everywhere.

Acting Crazy (Instrumental) (jed_), Friday, 26 June 2015 00:13 (eleven years ago)

dress shoes are always fucked. no one ever knows what to do. i go with as simple as possible.

surm, Friday, 26 June 2015 06:18 (eleven years ago)

Yep, that's the default shoe in my work office. So ubiquitous it's almost not even a thing any more. I don't mind them that much but it would be nice to see a change.

cod latin (dog latin), Friday, 26 June 2015 06:42 (eleven years ago)

I like a long and pointy shoe! I am 5ft7 and take a size 6 (Euro 40) in shoes so they help prevent me looking like I have hobbit feet.

That said, that shoe is like the generic ideal of this forum and it does make me feel bored.

I guess this is a bit worse than what we're talking about: http://jeansandsheux.tumblr.com

Forget if this was ever linked here before.

those shoes paired with those socks that give the illusion of no socks is probably my least favorite thing in menswear

diamonddave85 (diamonddave85), Friday, 26 June 2015 14:33 (eleven years ago)

someone somewhere is rocking that shoe/nosox combo with carefully pressed cargo shorts w/ leather belt. maybe a while polo shirt? shirt definitely tucked into the shorts whatever it is.

Predicted high temps today through Sunday are 97, 100, and 106 degrees and as a bald man I will shamelessly wear a white bucket hat if necessary. So much better than my usual navy blue wool baseball cap.

joygoat, Friday, 26 June 2015 17:47 (eleven years ago)

totally thought that was Bez in the hat

rip van wanko, Friday, 26 June 2015 17:54 (eleven years ago)

one of the bad things abt the internet is because it keeps expanding exponentially most of the content is new content so when u search for happy mondays as was my first instinct almost all the images are from their recent reunion

call all destroyer, Friday, 26 June 2015 18:27 (eleven years ago)

a good hat can change your life

, Friday, 26 June 2015 18:28 (eleven years ago)

a good hat can be the best friend you ever had... or yr worst enemy

lag∞n, Friday, 26 June 2015 18:33 (eleven years ago)

hats in the winter are obv very essential if you live in a cold climate and i really love them then

i've never been a summer hat person but i admire them on others. my brother and his wife run a small family farm in OH and they wear these cool wide-brimmed gardener's hats and i really love them but i've never felt comfortable wearing them

ditto for baseball caps, i'd like to wear one here or there but never felt like they are "me"

marcos, Friday, 26 June 2015 18:38 (eleven years ago)

whatever the hats thatre in the bucket hat family but have bigger flatter brims are called kinda feeling those

lag∞n, Friday, 26 June 2015 18:40 (eleven years ago)

yea that's what my brother & his wear

marcos, Friday, 26 June 2015 18:42 (eleven years ago)
