short sleeve button downs could be like a religion i feel

surm, Monday, 4 May 2015 17:52 (eleven years ago)

not sure why but i have never found a short sleeve button down that worked for me

i am 5'7" and super skinny, they all seem too baggy or too tight

marcos, Monday, 4 May 2015 18:19 (eleven years ago)

i love linen though, i have a few nice linen shirts i wear to work in the summer and it is 80 degrees in boston today so im wearing one right now

marcos, Monday, 4 May 2015 18:20 (eleven years ago)

yea they are tricky as fuck

someone on ILX i think gave me the tip that if it's a sleeve issue, you can casually roll up the sleeve which makes the arms less baggy at least

hey what's a good source for solid-color pocket tees? for years i've been buying jcrew's broken in pocket tees but i am not into the colors this year, so many pastels, 5 of which are basically the same color https://www.jcrew.com/mens_special_sizes/extrasmall/polostees/PRDOVR~72977/72977.jsp

i looked american apparel but tbh i dont really trust them, it's been a while though since i tried on anything from them. 8-10 years ago i gave them a chance and found all of their shit to fit very poorly, have they improved?

marcos, Monday, 4 May 2015 20:54 (eleven years ago)

uniqlo has some good colors but only in the basic tee, no pocket.

marcos, Monday, 4 May 2015 20:56 (eleven years ago)

The gap?

Acting Crazy (Instrumental) (jed_), Monday, 4 May 2015 21:09 (eleven years ago)

Is it called gap or the gap?

Acting Crazy (Instrumental) (jed_), Monday, 4 May 2015 21:10 (eleven years ago)

lol not sure, yea i tried a few there but was not happy, the cotton seemed very heavy

marcos, Monday, 4 May 2015 21:13 (eleven years ago)

it's called "thigh gap" iirc

any tips on brown boots i can wear to work?

surm, Monday, 4 May 2015 22:50 (eleven years ago)

I guess it depends on what your job is.

Acting Crazy (Instrumental) (jed_), Monday, 4 May 2015 23:28 (eleven years ago)

semi-professional, but creative ... i just never know where to find good shoes

surm, Monday, 4 May 2015 23:32 (eleven years ago)

yeah how formal are we talking? and ankle boots or boots boots

𝔠𝔞𝔢𝔨 (caek), Monday, 4 May 2015 23:32 (eleven years ago)

chuckas are v wearable but may not be smart enough for you:

smarter chuckas and more weather proof if it rains where you are, but more $

i'm kind of thinking ankle boots for more flexibility. my usual extent of fancy is like CK fancy. definitely not like a brown sports boot. but not $200 either.

surm, Monday, 4 May 2015 23:36 (eleven years ago)

o those are both nice thx

surm, Monday, 4 May 2015 23:36 (eleven years ago)

guys i've been really digging...... benetton

TracerHandVEVO (Tracer Hand), Thursday, 7 May 2015 16:22 (eleven years ago)

i now own three v-neck t-shirts from them in exactly the same style, different colors. american apparel was like the new benetton, and now benetton is the new benetton.

TracerHandVEVO (Tracer Hand), Thursday, 7 May 2015 16:23 (eleven years ago)

i think i must have some kind of pathological affectation for once imperial european fashion brands that are seriously on the skids

TracerHandVEVO (Tracer Hand), Thursday, 7 May 2015 16:24 (eleven years ago)

tretorn is my other lodestar

TracerHandVEVO (Tracer Hand), Thursday, 7 May 2015 16:25 (eleven years ago)

i bought my v-necks at the flagship store on oxford circus, maybe one of the last bastions of the men's stuff?! i dunno. they have some really nice sweaters in there too.

TracerHandVEVO (Tracer Hand), Thursday, 7 May 2015 16:56 (eleven years ago)

yes they sure do. it was definitely an exciting time of life! i just know i went to one of the stores recently once in Queens and it was basically just fancy ladies' things and then like 2 trousers. but that's QUEENS so who knows!

surm, Thursday, 7 May 2015 17:13 (eleven years ago)

bureau belfast model (LocalGarda), Thursday, 7 May 2015 18:16 (eleven years ago)
