i mean i get that engineered garments is p difficult to style, and sometimes just like second hand clothes someone's dad wore in goa - but the pics and the model are just so clueless.

right, i want some black jeans now. lots of talk of raw denim and selvedge upthread which is a bit confusing. kind of like the idea of slim, if not skinny (i've never taken the skinny plunge, but maybe something close to that?) and possibly a slightly cropped leg for the summer. Any nice retailers out there in the UK that won't charge me a small forch?

They have loads of different jeans and they're cheap. I have found two specific kinds of jeans there, one dark blue, one black, that I'm totally happy with. They go nicely snug but not outrageously tight after washing. I can wear them for a week or two without them losing their shape or snugness too much (however, I have had H&M jeans that loosen up too much after just a day or two). Every time I'm in an H&M I buy up all the pairs in my size (30") I can find (I suspect others do this too, because it can actually be really hard to find any in my size). I don't have to think about jeans any more - I used to think about them a fair bit - and my legs look good every day. I love H&M - life would be so much different without it. I wouldn't buy a coat or some shoes there, probably, but for the basic stuff they're great.

I have been considering purchase of camo items but not any arcade fire merch items

decided I am definitely allergic to plaid after the scourge of the 90s and am ok never owning anything plaid ever again

the camo sweats are okay. i have a camo scarf but that's prob as far as i'd go, for 90s/bad dj fashion reasons.

not sure why but i have never found a short sleeve button down that worked for me

i am 5'7" and super skinny, they all seem too baggy or too tight

i love linen though, i have a few nice linen shirts i wear to work in the summer and it is 80 degrees in boston today so im wearing one right now

yea they are tricky as fuck

someone on ILX i think gave me the tip that if it's a sleeve issue, you can casually roll up the sleeve which makes the arms less baggy at least

i looked american apparel but tbh i dont really trust them, it's been a while though since i tried on anything from them. 8-10 years ago i gave them a chance and found all of their shit to fit very poorly, have they improved?

uniqlo has some good colors but only in the basic tee, no pocket.
