Carhartt as skateboard wear is mind boggling to me as it is very much a blue collar / cold weather work wear thing in the U.S. and the style of dress I would associate with the people most likely to pick on skaters when I was in high school.

so now it's sunny again i need to decide what hat i hate the least to prevent head burning.

anyone taken the bucket hat plunge? i just think they represent dickheads at music festivals in my youth - not sure i can go there. then if you go the other way into formal hats you're basically fedora guy.

last year i wore a baseball cap when travelling a bit - first photo and my friend said "didn't know you were into odd future" : /

to be fair, hardcore kids and skater kids were wearing Carhartt as a fashion thing at least as early as 1992.

Dickies def. has been a staple of punk/skate culture forever in the U.S., Carhartt less so. Always been farmer and construction wear to me. Occasionally see, like, crust punk kids wearing it tho.

they wear out p fast tho something abt the fabric they use which i guess is recycled from like plastic bottles gets thin relatively quickly, im on my third gray one

never got that steven alan one i bought on sale it was back ordered forever and finally i emailed them and they were all oh yeah right uh that doesnt exist anymore i guess we will refund u or w/e, not had a great time w their customer service tbqh

Real McCoys make the best sweatshirts I've ever owned. Really expensive but last for ages. Sunspel make good ones and you can pick them up in their sales quite cheap. Champion are good for cheap plain sweatshirts and t shirts that fit nicely.
