i have one of those and it's pretty great but i've been afraid to buy another one because, as many of the comments on that website attest, the "fit" seems to have changed and become more boxy, which i hate.

american giant is all abt being the best made sweatshirt in the universe but its no fashion

im not saying u cant flip it like a champ just that its of a different category

i remember reading about it and was kind of interested, tho best-made last forever is not really my aesthetic, but then when they were talking about like the extra panels they added on the side and arms and stuff i was like nah cause thats not frequency

also anyone who thinks the zip hoodie is the foundational hoodie doesnt know anything about hoodies

the pullover is the core hoodie, zip vers is a variant, and inferior tbqh

a discerning gentleman owns maximum one zippered hoodie for every two pullovers

the zip hoodie just has no structural integrity, try putting up the hood it looks like a wet rag, try putting it down it still looks like a wet rag

yeah, thought that's what we were talking about. sometimes the triangle forms a little cross-shaped thing at the front. not a fan. then again i'm not a huge fan of sweatshirts

Grand pronouncement: A man needs a sweatshirt, or a utility sweater.

I'd rather wear a hoodie or knitted jumper than a sweatshirt. Just not sure how to 'wear' them really (i.e. what to wear them with and in what context).

man, pullover vs zip hoodies is an enduring ilx debate i guess. don't want to just slip back into the face off of restating contradictory positions so i am going to just offer a little bit of advice, if you think pullover hoodie > zip then i recommend you reevaluate every single facet of your existence. it will be a hard road but worth it in the end i promise and when you get there maybe i'll let you buy me a beer.
