me n my bro lag∞n were trying to figure out the name of those casual wool pants that are kind of thicker like a jean (not thin like dress/suit pants) and are usu slimmer cut and often come in browns and tans and sometimes greys too, the usu make yr butt look great and are maybe slightly higher waisted, and are the type of thing you wd imagine someone wearing sockless w/ wingtips and maybe a Herschel backpack

fwiw stevie i have two pairs of those norse projects wool trousers (non-cropped) and they were the first thing that came to mind reading your post. i dont know if theres a name for them other than 'wool trousers' which is what i have always called them. also they are really great and super warm f

yeah "wool trousers" or maybe "flannel trousers". get them hemmed with cuffs at desired height.

well i got the smaller patagonia and its still huge i give up, it actually fits mostly in a slouchy manner except the sleeves are super wide at the shoulder so it bunches up under my armpits idk man i really liked the idea

maybe i will go to the store and try on some other ones at some point

i tried to get one of those patagonias too but it also fit big/weird, took it to the store to try more on and all the pullovers fit sorta odd tbh

prob my current fav garment is a slouchy oversized crewneck sweatshirt, the issue w the patagonia as i see it is the arm holes at the shoulder are huge and this causes weird bunching cause the fleece has some rigidity to it where sweat material doesnt, wld prob work with diff fleece

what weekend bags do you all use - been looking for a while for a duffle with no real details to it - i had one from topman which lasted a surprisingly long time. it's always so hard to find this kind of thing.

btw i have vowed many times to stop online buying things on final sale but i cant help myself, totally whiffed on my last steven alan order but managed to guilt trip them into taking the whole order back cause they neglected to remove a security tag from one of the items

i use ll bean tote w zipper and long handles 4 weekend bag, i have the xl but large is a fine size for weekend, u can custom make any colors too which is cool if ur not into the standard two tone, not sure if thats ur type of thing tho

I'm the opposite, I've stopped myself so many times buying the final sale stuff from SA that I went a little overboard this time from "pent up demand" -- wound up adding two more things, some shorts and another shirt.

i don't mind colours but figure for a big i just want grey or black or navy so it can age more gracefully. i don't intend to buy one again for as long as possible.

FWIW I rocked one of the new Peter Millar "classic fit" suits yesterday and got a lot of complements. A classic fit a size down seems to fit me better than the trim fit suit I bought last year. I'm probably just not a trim enough dude to look good in a trim suit, and I had bought a jacket with shoulders a little too big to compensate. This one fits exactly the way I want a suit to fit. Color is great too, blue like a shade or two lighter than navy with a very faint plaid on it.
