lol 2014

lag∞n, Thursday, 4 December 2014 18:14 (eleven years ago)

yeah it's definitely a little kickstartery/pomplamoussian but if it legitimately means getting good jeans at a lower price would give it a shot. The problem for me is that $99+ is still a pretty high price point for jeans in my book so they'd have to be damn good.

18th Century Celebrity WS of Shame (Hurting 2), Thursday, 4 December 2014 18:17 (eleven years ago)

just buy yrself some nice jeans from an established denim provider {calculate jeans math}

lag∞n, Thursday, 4 December 2014 18:20 (eleven years ago)

i have a pair coming in a couple weeks. finally saw a fabric i really dug after a few months of keeping an eye on their stuff.

call all destroyer, Thursday, 4 December 2014 18:25 (eleven years ago)

I can't buy nice pants because my waist size goes up and down too much. I'd have to get like 5 different sizes.

Jeff, Thursday, 4 December 2014 18:26 (eleven years ago)

they did have one really nice looking recently one that I think was called Italian Green-something (green was not the color of the jean so not sure if that's right) -- maybe greenline?

18th Century Celebrity WS of Shame (Hurting 2), Thursday, 4 December 2014 18:30 (eleven years ago)

still not ready to bite the bullet and buy some APC's or something, and way to afraid that I will gain or lose a lot of weight and have wasted the money

18th Century Celebrity WS of Shame (Hurting 2), Thursday, 4 December 2014 18:30 (eleven years ago)

just buy like five pairs in all different sizes

lag∞n, Thursday, 4 December 2014 18:32 (eleven years ago)

srsly tho ur ready to drop $100 on some spec jeans but wont pay $175 for ones that are verified fire

call all destroyer, Thursday, 4 December 2014 18:33 (eleven years ago)

nice! That was the first one that really stood out to me as not just looking like Yet Another Raw Selvedge Jean

18th Century Celebrity WS of Shame (Hurting 2), Thursday, 4 December 2014 18:34 (eleven years ago)

yeah it was unique but not obnoxious.

call all destroyer, Thursday, 4 December 2014 18:34 (eleven years ago)

this one otoh, do not want

https://s3.amazonaws.com/gustin-production/attached_assets/assets/000/015/050/large/1a.81_lean2.jpg?1416943472

nothing on the site at the moment really catches my eye actually, but it changes a lot. maybe the olive chino, but that's pricey.

18th Century Celebrity WS of Shame (Hurting 2), Thursday, 4 December 2014 18:36 (eleven years ago)

sry u have to get them

lag∞n, Thursday, 4 December 2014 18:37 (eleven years ago)

also really do not like schlubby "unstructured" sport coats in general

18th Century Celebrity WS of Shame (Hurting 2), Thursday, 4 December 2014 18:37 (eleven years ago)

unstructured is tite man maybe u cant shlub it off tho

lag∞n, Thursday, 4 December 2014 18:38 (eleven years ago)

yeah like i said i watched for a long time before i saw anything i wanted to buy. if i like the fit of these jeans i could see myself getting some chinos though.

call all destroyer, Thursday, 4 December 2014 18:39 (eleven years ago)

18th Century Celebrity WS of Shame (Hurting 2), Thursday, 4 December 2014 18:39 (eleven years ago)

lag∞n, Thursday, 4 December 2014 18:39 (eleven years ago)

sure thing! the long lead time on orders kinda sucks but i guess w/e it will be a surprise when they show up.

call all destroyer, Thursday, 4 December 2014 18:40 (eleven years ago)

𝔠𝔞𝔢𝔨 (caek), Thursday, 4 December 2014 18:41 (eleven years ago)

i think you could pull that off

𝔠𝔞𝔢𝔨 (caek), Thursday, 4 December 2014 18:41 (eleven years ago)

omg just cause it has a shawl collar doesnt mean its a tuxedo jacket, was thinking like just some very sumptuous furry light gray wool, its almost a sweater.............

call all destroyer, Thursday, 4 December 2014 18:44 (eleven years ago)

lag∞n, Thursday, 4 December 2014 18:48 (eleven years ago)

no one steal my billion dollar idea plz

lag∞n, Thursday, 4 December 2014 18:48 (eleven years ago)

isn't your idea just a merino wool kimono?

𝔠𝔞𝔢𝔨 (caek), Thursday, 4 December 2014 18:55 (eleven years ago)

it like the intersection of a jacket a kimono and a sweater and its revolutionary

lag∞n, Thursday, 4 December 2014 18:57 (eleven years ago)

found it http://www.lanvin.com/e-lanvin/US/double-sided-wool-kimono-coat-fur-hood-30925.html?gclid=CLjKlNWIrcICFQsSMgodJwUA2Q

call all destroyer, Thursday, 4 December 2014 18:58 (eleven years ago)

lag∞n, Thursday, 4 December 2014 18:59 (eleven years ago)

i have never owned a top man garment, total garbage no?

lag∞n, Thursday, 4 December 2014 19:15 (eleven years ago)

that's the word

18th Century Celebrity WS of Shame (Hurting 2), Thursday, 4 December 2014 19:21 (eleven years ago)

i remember looking at their stuff once it was comically slim and would never fit me

call all destroyer, Thursday, 4 December 2014 19:23 (eleven years ago)

Topman the name has always sounded like a bad Chinese brand to me

, Thursday, 4 December 2014 19:27 (eleven years ago)

totally

18th Century Celebrity WS of Shame (Hurting 2), Thursday, 4 December 2014 19:30 (eleven years ago)

topman hotspur

lag∞n, Thursday, 4 December 2014 19:31 (eleven years ago)

lol, that's the preferred pronunciation definitely

ogmor, Thursday, 4 December 2014 19:32 (eleven years ago)

top man stuff is no worse than h&m imo

𝔠𝔞𝔢𝔨 (caek), Thursday, 4 December 2014 20:02 (eleven years ago)

faint praise

18th Century Celebrity WS of Shame (Hurting 2), Thursday, 4 December 2014 20:04 (eleven years ago)

well sure, but in the world of stuff you're only going to wear for a year, it's fine

𝔠𝔞𝔢𝔨 (caek), Thursday, 4 December 2014 20:06 (eleven years ago)

that said, i don't think i've ever bought anything there, and i've bought plenty of h&m stuff so shrug

𝔠𝔞𝔢𝔨 (caek), Thursday, 4 December 2014 20:07 (eleven years ago)

H&M has pretty good dress shirts imo

, Thursday, 4 December 2014 20:09 (eleven years ago)

I basically only wear H&M dress shirts. They're cheap, they look good, and they fit.
