i live in a very hot and humid climate, seersucker is the shit.

my major concerns about non-ss cotton suits are the usual colors one can get them in--the brightish blue feels really bloggy and the khaki makes me think of like an investment banker on safari in a nightclub.

irish linen is nice but it can tip over into baptist preacher real fast

i attended a very sweaty wedding last weekend in pinstripe jacket, colorful chinos, white canvas sneakers and felt respectable.

that suitsupply suit is nice. i have three of their suits and love them all.

i just bought a second identical pair of j crew outlet tan shorts b/c good shorts are hard to find

i generally just work around this via wearing light summer pants but imna be in some hot ass places and the only shorts i have that i like are swim trunks w the name of their thai island of origin embroidered on there

I like the gap "lived in" flat front shorts. Pretty basic.

yeah the trunk-type thing you're after is almost always on the longer side from what i've seen.

i have realized that nine inches is the best shorts length for me.

basic flat-front shorts and basic solid tees are the only things I like from gap

yeah football shorts are the best. i called the wash and fold because they had lost mine, but then i found them with my underpants because they thought they were boxers. that is how freeing football shorts are.

i bought some uniqlo shorts but they are too long and i might take them to the jorts tailor to have them rehemmed

the three pairs of shorts i own are all embarrassing. two are really baggy with combat-style pockets on the side. the other pair just feel too small, like, i feel like my whole thigh is over exposed.

i love shorts, i wait impatiently for the four months a year in which i can wear shorts all the time. although i have a stupid office job now and i cant wear shorts to work anymore so summer is pretty pointless

i saw these on sale at the same store that i bought the other pair of shorts i linked a few posts ago - wasnt totally feeling them for myself but i like the pattern

idk about soccer shorts i mean i approve of the casual 90s vibe in general but theres something or several things that i cant really fathom about the idea maybe if i hadnt spent so many summers playing actual soccer, in actual soccer shorts, in the 90s...

btw my fave pair of shorts is a pair of hunter green apcs that i got in paris theyre just the exact right length and shapelessness they confrom perfectly to my idea of not trying so hard but not wearing soccer shorts wavelength of summer dressing but for some reason they dont have a back pocket which is limiting might even say frustrating but i still wear them approximately 100x each summer since i bought them

I love shorts but I'm kind of a dirtbag in the summer and essentially wear a wrangler plaid cowboy shirt, cutoff dickies, and mesh sauconys every single day for three months.

I would like to get classier hot weather clothing at some point. Shoes in particular but everything feels either too slovely or too fancy.
