Just got feet, don't got SHOES

schef - i don't know if it says that officially on the site still? but i have a pair that the soles got fucked up pretty fast & i was all mad so i emailed customer service and they gave me an address and said, send them in and they would repair. maybe they don't advertise it.. but prob if you email they would help you out?

I've basically worn out all my flats & dancing shoes so that they don't even stay on anymore. I need a whole new shoe wardrobe. How depressing.

they look better on than they do in the photo, though, b/c they lace tight so are actually fitted at the ankle. and are very very very dark indigo that might as well be black. i feel a little guilty for spending the money but, seller on ebay put them on sale & then i sent a ridiculously lowball offer and they took it, so i got them for abt 1/3 of the original price.

Actually on that note, I just found EVERYTHING I want on 6pm.com. Does anyone have experience w them? They have shoes from last fall for about half price -- I feel like styles that are over 1 year old should be cheaper than 50% off? But this is my last chance to stock up on shoes that I wear out after 1-2 years of regular wear.

I ordered a replacement pair last week and threw my old ones away; the sides were actually ripped through.

The silver buckles were out of stock, need a new supplier.

i realized i don't have any "adult" shoes... just purple floral print nike hightops, dirty white leather high-tops, red and white striped boat shoes with bells at the end of the laces, and pink and white striped plimsolls.... i think maybe time to get some...

i found a pair of flats (from ebay so they cost a LOT less than they would at apc, still imho absurdly overpriced because they're not that sturdy, which was a surprise, i have some apc boots that are great)

ll bean apparently sells a very similar style for a good deal less than the red wings -- i've heard good things about red wings' durability but have never owned a pair. is the construction that good? like $100+ extra good?

i could go for a pair of white's semi-dress boots but I would never be able to justify buying another pair of boots ever again.
