shirt jackets!

wool CPO jackets are itchy! i only wear them as second or third layers over long sleeves.

its really itchy

a shirt jacket is not a shirt

my filson is out for delivery today but there is a storm so who knows

its totally a shirt tho, they shd make a lined version thatd be more of a shirt jacket

i mean its totally on me not even considering the itchiness but i did expect it to be a lil heavier

im not like a huge layerer so maybe it just doesnt fit my lifestyle

idk if i can justify the investment for occasional layer opportunities tbh

i used to have a heavy woolrich flannel shirt that was p cool

those are v soft but a lil more rigid tho, this one hangs v nice

layer opportunities are all around you man

i mean you're at least wearing this thing with a tshirt, right?

then its like really just a jacket for the outdoors, but id like to wear it indoors w just a tee underneath idk got to think this over so many emotions

i think it might work, but you would have to line the body too otherwise it would hang weird, no?

wouldn't it just be easier to get a couple of long sleeve t shirts?

i think if you just put in a super thin satin lining it wouldnt affect how it hangs v much, i dont really f w long sleeve tees idk

tho maybe cotton would be better

Warning u, my Lands' End one doesn't seem that scratchy on the outside and the sleeves are lined, but it still scratches bare arms thru the lining.

the whole point of shirt jackets is that you get to wear like fourteen shirts at once

like a little kid pretending to be fat in the 90s

the only rule is that one of the fourteen layers has to be a chambray oxford

actually thats one of the only two rules the other rule is that custard is delicious

yeah shirt jackets look best with a sub-collar
