Just got feet, don't got SHOES

The Swedish lady from Tretorn told me on the phone that I can order them direct, and what size I should try. I have never ordered shoes through the post before.

I had these super-soft leather ones. Replaced them with random ones ordered online and they were kind of sleeping-bag material :(

yeah I am pretty into shoes with soles/heels that are a different shade from the rest of the shoe. Not those lunar crepe things, just like tan with brown or tan with black.

yeah the heel is super important

i'm wearing clicky heels today, i like them. the shoes are black but the laces and stitching are midnight blue which is also a neat contrast

The Vintage Shoe Company shoes I bought just feel incredibly well-constructed -- good leather, tight stitching, every sold but still comfortable. And apparently made in the USA too so I guess I should feel proud of that or something.

rocking these 2day - i love that they are really like highlighter bright; they're p good shoes, i had already had a pair in yellow that i've destroyed mostly by playing tennis a lot in them so i really cant wear them casually anymore

so I went to the Bass outlet with like, no money, thinking well I'll just look and clock what they have for when I'm cashed up, and ended up leaving with

okay I know between these and my purple suede boots and bedazzled sandals I'm veering int 70's Elvis/Liberace level crazy shoe closet (if only the gold leather had been in my size)...but they're p freaking rad and colorful shoes make me happy

I just recently noticed my appalling shoe conservatism. Inspiring!

I get more conservative from the top down: fun shirts, bright solid-colour trousers, brown shoes.

I love the Bass outlet.

shoe ppl: please help me find the following to replace my everyday black flats that i wear basically all the time to work

black flat, very minor heel ok (like 1 in)
pointy toe preferred (do not like very rounded toes, pointies are just as comfortable and i feel are more flattering, on me at least)
soft flexible sole
no toe cleavage/somewhat high cut (but not like a loafer)
ok for standing on for 6 hours
embellishment ok within reason
no buckles/clasps -- must be slip on

i have no idea how to search for all of these things at once. i'm shopping impaired and very impatient. i've been needing to replace the beat up old ones i have for over a year!

you're probably going to have to look at flats and/or dress flats and then just find what you want by browsing...

but modcloth has a pretty cute array of flats, and a lot of diff pointy toe styles, you might start there and see if there's anything you like

redwings are pretty unfuckwithable, although I think they would look kind of dorky on me, as bulkier shoes usually do

They're always too 'low cut' and/or too wide so my foot just slips out.

modcloth shoes are cute, but many of them are not v high qual in my experience. i've bought a few pairs and they're basically only for special occasions. but on those special occasions i get to wear little gold ballet shoes that make me feel like a goddess/fairy and heeled booties with bows that give off a sweetly badass air (until the next bow needs to be glued back on)

my favorite ones ever were from bakers.

They're from zappos.com and they're Rockports, which means the quality should be at least reasonably good!

I know the vamp might be a little too low for what you wanted, but they seemed good enough to at least show you. :)
