Does anyone else have a problem with blue nail polish staining their nails a blue-grey tint after being removed? Any ideas on how to get that off?

Yeah blues seem especially bad at leaving pigment behind, even with acetone! Makes me look vaguely cyanotic for a day afterward.

I don't know! You could just get two different colors on different nails, that's a good start. I favor the A-B-A-A-B A-B-B-A-A order of nails but go nuts.

Tried out a birthday present today, this "leather-look finish" from Nails, Inc. Mixed it with a yellow I just bought for $1.99 that turned out not to be opaque after all--this is four coats!--but I might be coming around on the "rubber tubing" color & translucence.

Was it Erica that linked the Art Deco nail wraps? I got mine today in a pink metallic mailer no less. Haven't put them on yet but they look so awesome!

Oh quick q for E. some of these wraps seem toenail size. Do you think that's their intended use?

Some of them are right?! I don't think they're supposed to be for toenails - maybe just for people with wide fingernails? I don't know. I put a couple on yesterday and they look pretty great but the widths were a little weird in general. I hope they work out for you!

everything to do with nails (decals, fake nails, w/e) is always too big for my nails in p much every direction. my nail beds are really tiny, like they don't go back (?) as far as other people's. i wish i had more real estate to cover with nail polish tbh

So do I, and mine are average-sized but I just don't/can't grow them any longer before they start to break and snag on things.

Me too! That's what's on my nails today and I can't stop looking at it and feeling a happy glow.

The white base is China Glaze Moonbeam, which isn't opaque white, it's milky and translucent. Makes a nice gauzy transition.

I love that feeling when I can't stop looking at my nails. It's such a small thing but it brings such great happiness.

It's my goal to bring that happiness to as many people as I can!

Nope, I rip off little bits of those dense foam make-up sponges and dab with them.

I'm totally coming around on the gluing crystals and beads and stuff to nails, I always saw it as suuuper tacky but I kind of came back at it from the other side, somehow, and now I like it. I guess I embraced the tackiness.
