btw you should write a longer post for the blog! there should be a twitter account that tweets links to the reviews and an @ at the brand that makes it, too. I know our accounts RT many mentions/reviews to give them kudos/brag a little and a side effect is a bit of traffic to the blog too, hopefully :)

yeah I was thinking set up an @IFeelPrettyNot or something account.. then when a post is published, tweet a link to it from the twitter account (because a lot of people don't go back to domains to check for updates anymore! I rely on RSS/tweets) and if the brand being reviewed has a twitter account, use their handle in it too so that they (might) find it. Some brands will retween yours and then anyone following @EsteeLauder (for instance) could possibly be driven to become a new reader!

i haven't bought make-up in a while and am still using mineral powder but have been having thoughts of getting "a more elegant" foundation, lol srsly that word... from mandee's (amazing, well written) review, the estee lauder double wear sounds like it might be too heavy for my needs though. hm. maybe will get some samples and report back. ah, now i'm reminiscing about Prescriptives, who made my once-holy-grail foundation. sigh!

i need to buy a new tube of mascara, so a trip to sephora is in my near future anyway.

thinking maybe I'll throw up a plain old cetaphil soap review bcz the WDYLL I posted yesterday was me with zero makeup. It's made a huge change!

yes! it is the only face cleaner i use and have been using it since 1999, when my skin started going crazy with acne-rosacea (was using cetaphil cleanser, bah!), and the soap alone helped calm things so much! i've tried other cleansers since there, here and there, but always go back to cetaphil bar soap.

I'm shocked at how much of an improvement it's made. And it's helped me figure out that certain foods trigger reactions too, since my face is now not always red all the time.

so glad you mentioned it, rrobyn. this thread's made a lot of difference to my wellbeing lately! :D

i don't think i can do the bourjois because it is full of dimethicone and has denatured alcohol in it and a few other things that my skin will be unhappy about... i could probably use it once in a while but not for a full day/night. i know most foundations have those things in them these days though, which is why i went the mineral powder route, but sometimes the powder is too, yknow, powdery if i'm going for a more made-up look.

Ahh, gotcha R. :) it feels like silk and has lovely but blendable coverage, I've never tried the Estée Lauder stuff but it feels like that review described it! Heh. But my skin is strong like steel, thankfully.
