and yes nothing breaks my heart more than seeing a beautiful print in a size that fits me then realizing its rayon/polyester

Personally find the full Hawaiian a bit much, but have been looking for a twist on it that I like. I have a few floral print shirts with a more small-scale regular print, which prob suits me more.

i can see how that one you just posted would potentially be nice btw vahid, not really the style i like but i have seen people wearing similar. i sort of think a bit of the problem is london this summer is raining all the time too, most prints i'm wearing is with a blazer or underneath a cardigan.

it looks a lot like shirts my dad wears though and he has weird ideas about proportion

xp I'm completely allergic to AllSaints as a brand but I can see how someone (not me) could look great in that shirt.

TLG - that tori richard shirt has the potential to be cool but its a crazy longshot-- like i can hypothetically see someone pulling it off but the odds are so stacked in "lame"'s favor i'd avoid it imo

Yo I just went in a Brooks Bros outlet; a lot of really fun shirts but damn the smalls are HUUUUHE, like sleeves all the way to my elbow and the bottom almost to my knees. What the fuck gives??

well they're meant to be tucked in so that's why they're long and worn by old dudes w/ big flabby upper arms

this is why boutique brands exist basically and part of why made in usa brooks brothers shirts are relatively inexpensive

i think a lot of the best fitting mass market american stuff is actually from outdoor brands which is too bad because the construction is always wonky on that stuff and the patterns and colors are so dire

H&M fits me great but falls apart in a few minutes

mine shirt upthread is michiko koshino ie fashion, and even then i needed to roll up the short sleeves and tuck in. i think breathing room is part of the fun shirt vibe. but don't forget tucking in.
